Ah I see, so might be better to wait and get the Series X BC 360 version, beefed up with HDR, faster loading and running at higher resolution and FPS due the XSX hardware, rather then the Xbox One remaster that probably offers similar but maybe not even as good on the XSX. Interesting.
RE3 remake is ok, but it should have been a DLC for RE2, or bundled together.
You can see how much of the assets are reused and the game itself is shortened from the original.
They better not chop up the RE4 remake, or I'll come at them with a chainsaw and a bag on my head!
So I bought Kingdoms of Alamur on my old 360 back in the day, and was very happy when I found it was BC on Xbox One.
My question is will 'Smart Delivery' give me the Xbox 360 version on the Series X, or the newly announced One X remaster version?
MS did say they won't charge for upgrade versions, so will this count? Or is it a bit of a smoke and mirrors promise?
Classic MS smoke & mirrors from Philled Sphincter and co.
I noticed the phrase 'Target render' being bandied about during that Xbox show, that means to me that they'd like it to look like that, but it probably won't in the end.
Of course, as Palpatine Spencer said the other day, you can't count on graphics, you need to feeeeeeel the next gen games to really experience them.
What a load of usual MS bull$h1t.
BC is nice, but usually it's a quick dabble to see how well it runs and then once I see how badly most have aged I don't play them for very long.
Nice but is anyone going to play an original Xbox game or 360 game beyond the initial 10 mins curiosity mark on their new Series X just to see how shiny it is but how dated the gameplay is too?
Palpatine Spencer!!
"It's time to witness the power of this fully armed and operational Xbox Series X"
"Don't believe your eyes, it's better then that!"
Classic MS hot air!!
"Videos don't do it justice." I don't know about that though, that UE5 video (that was on a PS5 but can also be run on a Xbox SX I'm sure) seemed to do pretty good justice to next gen, and that was still missing alot of new features like ray tracing etc I believe.
I guess they want us to buy it on trust then.
As SONY learnt with the Vita, proprietary memory cards do not fly in this day and age.
However MS seems intent on rolling this old idea out again with it's new SSD memory 'cards' that will only fit in a Series X and so can be charged and controlled by MS themselves - an idea that's not going to be popular...AGAIN!!
So not very consumer or forward thinking there, especially when they can learn from the mistakes in the past of their competitor.
SLAP!! Take that Philled Sphincter!!
no it should not.

Well Ubisoft can peel off that 'Optimised for Xbox Series X' sticker from Assassins Creed Valhalla then.

World's shortest article!! Boom boom!!
I would bet most of them are from China, regarding the 'Free Hong Kong' use of Animal Crossing that was going on before the game was banned there.
PS5 as lead platform from a third-party developer then? I wonder if this will be the trend going forward.
These are all ID@Xbox games, well maybe worth a try for 5 mins as its game pass.
I think the game is brilliant, however these days it's unfortunately perceived cool and fashionable to slate things that are popular, for the sake of site clicks and to be seen as 'different'.
Be nice if there were more playtime, but compared to some of the 60 hour or longer epics I've played, its quite refreshing to have something that can be done almost in a lockdown sitting.
1TB? Thats not going to hold many new games methinks, when current gen Battlefront 2, RDR2, CoD, Destiny 2 etc are all 100GB or so at the moment.
Perhaps you can use an external drive as a holding drive and transfer games across to the built in SSD when you want to play them if not already saved on there.
I guess this is how the current tech is to keep the prices down, although proprietary 'memory cards' are always a nice little earner for hardware companie...
(reference to Detroit: Become Human for those without humor).
It was the wooden spoon wasn't it?
