MS feel confident they're going to be selling £220 expansion card to almost every Series S buyer (and probably alot of Series X buyers too).
136GB for new CoD, not counting updates down the line. Leaves 228GB for anything else, 2 more AAA maybe?
Certainly not much room for all those games on Gamepass.
Nice to see the PC master race so interested in owning PS5 I say!
Well done all!
Usual hot air farted out of Philled Sphincters mouth hole about how Xbox is going to penetrate the Japanese market.
It's not btw.
Probably Anthem & Mass Effect: Andromeda.
Just showed how far downhill the legendary name of Bioware has gone.
Fortunately, MS has made a proprietary 1TB 'expansion card' to solve this problem.
The price, £220!!
Making a grand total of £470, £20 more then a series X.
MS know the expansion card uptake will be high for Series S owners, especially as game sizes will grow during the generation.
They are happily selling a lower spec machine, knowing that in the long run Series S owners will pay more then a Series X.
And all the while, Phil...
Irony - source code of game about hacking gets leaked.
How can you see it's 4K dynamic or not if you're watching a Youtube video at 1080p?
I think 'people' might be mistaken friend.
Dynamic 4K might be noticeable if you have a large 4K TV (70'') and sit a bit too close to it.
Otherwise I don't think many people would see when the resolution shifts on a 55'' or lower screen, sitting approx 2 metres away (if you sit closer then that then please consider your eyes).
Personally I think this is a fine compromise if it keeps the frame rate stable and adds in RT.
WANT!!
Demon's Souls, Mile Morales, Bug Snax, AC: Valhalla, CoD Cold War, Immortals Fenix.
Want all of them, and between them I think that's plenty of hours of gaming for me for the next 6 months or more.
Plus Cyberpunk 2077 when it arrives to disrupt everything too.
I think it's a pretty good launch line up, much better then last time.
A textbook example of FOMO, and one of the real problems in today's society. People are suffering stress and mental health issues, not because they want a PS5 (or Xbox X or anything else), but because everyone else (it seems) is getting one.
All caused by having one's life generally dictated by social media, which has only gotten worse since more staying in from Covid-19.
Here's a little experiment to try, keep a piece of paper by your phone and just make a tally...
NOGAF!
$7.5 billion is a HUGE investment.
I think if the shareholders are expected to see any return on that investment then MS would have to consider PS5 releases also, especially if PS5 hardware sales go to similar levels of PS4 (which if you look at the pre-order numbers then that's not hard to imagine).
Classic fire stoking by Phil.
Says would love to get Gamepass on Playstation, then when Sony obviously say No, he can say "well we tried!" Attempting to look like he wanted to do Sony a favour.
He's a real GaaSbag.
Bug free games would be a good start!
As with the other games patched, I reckon this unlocks the frame rate on the 4K mode, so letting PS5 run it at 4K60fps (if it recognises it's running on a PS5).
I too platinumed it, I turned the combat to easy to get through it do I could see the story, which was quite interesting.
I wouldn't go so far as to call it 'one of the best games of the generation' though. It was alright though.
Invert Y-axis!!
