Either way, any system that blocks used games I will not buy. Simple as that
I think we need to establish what the criteria is for a "first person shooter".. When I hear that "FPS" term, I think CoD, Battlefield, Killzone, MoH, Halo, etc. Of course most of us like to razz these games as being generic FPS shoot fests.
But what about games like Skyrim Fallout, Deus Ex:HR, Bioshock, and some other games that utilize a first person perspective, but are more games for people who are interested in story/narrative and different gamplay ...

I dont understand why developers still even think of New York as a setting for games.. Aside from space or the post apocalyptic setting, NYC is arguable the MOST common setting for videogames (and movies for that matter)

If these Devs really want to avoid cliché with Modern military games, then they should make a more 'realistic' modern military game. In a truly realistic modern military game, your character is assigned to stand at a roadside checkpoint in the middle of the desert, while carrying a locked and loaded M-4A1 assault rifle, with a tac-vest full of spare clips. With Each level/mission of the game, the main character would rise from a poor nights sleep in a poorly air-conditioned tent...
Hopefully this will be revived with a next gen iteration. I know that this got a lot of young kids hooked on wanting to learn an instrument.

The asymetrical analogue sticks are IMO the best feature about the 360 controller. I have large hands and when I play on playstation, my thumbs always tend to smash into each other when playing TPS/FPS games. I also think the triggers feel more "weighted" and in general the control has a nice chunky feel in my hands.. overall very ergonimic.
