Didn't read the article, but c'mon.. this is click bait. TLoU is easily one of the best story telling experiences in video gaming within the last decade. Nothing really groundbreaking about the gameplay, but it's definitley fun as hell and hard to put down.
I've actually never had this happen or even heard of it before! Does it just feel like something spilled on top of your sticks? Owned a psOne, ps2, and ps3 and never had any kind of "slime" materialize on any of my DualShock controllers. I always wear off the texture on top of the sticks and they turn smooth after a while though!
Your argument is full of holes
You have clearly NEVER played a Forza game. So you have no real experience with the game and are just flaunting your blind loyalty to Sony products (like most everyone else on N4G). Now you look like an idiot, spouting off 'facts' that you would know the answer to had you ever played a game.
If you've played Forza, you would know that it has 24hr endurance races, most of the tracks are real world tracks (Suzuka, Sil...
"Forza is a Arcade racing with some sim features. but not a racing sim with good driving physics like GranTurismo."
Forza is a simulation that can be tailored to an arcade experience, by tweaking the menu options for driving assists. JUST LIKE GRAN TURISMO
Folks, seriously.. the people saying Forza is an arcade racer clearly have not played the game!!!! luckily, since this is N4G and its user base is largely Sony-biased, everyone else that's ne...
Except the poor man that bought Forza wound up with a vastly better variety of cars, all with completely modeled interiors and exteriors, and much more robust and dedicated online community. Oh, and way better customization options... oh, and more in-depth tuning options...oh, and better track variety... oh, and Top Gear endoresement...oh yea.. and a Free car every month from Turn 10 and very reasonably priced DLC car packs.
And the guy that settles for the "name brand&...
"in FM3/4 you do not spin off even in a car like a Mustang which is known as a tail happy car.."
"..im not fan of simple turn left and right driving games with min to no breaking i not fan of racing games that do not rely on the apex."
^^^^^ This has to be the proof that you've never played an FM game!!! Those statements are completely innacurate!!!!! "simple turn left and right with minimal to no braking??? WHAT!?!?!" I'...
When games start pulling Call of Duty numbers, publishers tend to do things to keep the profits growing. And that ususally means targeting the largest crowd (casual shooter fans) and targeting the crowd with the most expendable income (tweens with part time jobs that have no financial responsibilities). We've seen Activision do this over the years and hence, CoD is now full of foul mouthed little kids that play with no tactics or strategy.
That's okay, CoD does wha...
"I hope they are not forgetting about the people who are switching over from COD. Im one of them."
That's cool... as long as you aren't hoping DICE will add killstreaks, akimbo shotguns, and quick-scoping for you just because you switched. ;-)
Okay, seriously people. If you're saying Forza motorsports games are not sim's you HAVE NOT PLAYED ANY OF THE GAMES. (Abdzine, WarThunder) That's abundantly clear by your comments.
The ironic thing is that, BOTH GAMES HAVE THE SAME "ASSISTS" AND THEY ARE ALL TURNED ON BY DEFAULT! There is NOTHING "arcade like" about the car handling and driving in a Forza Motorsport game when you turn off all the assists (which are the IDENTICAL assists as G...
Well this is a bit more tolerable!! I'm still going day 1 ps4, but at least now, I know that when the X1 sees it's first price drop, I may consider getting one (after all I would REALLY miss my Forza Motorsports games!!)
GamersRulz,
Not sure where in the world you live, but I live in the US.. and believe me, no one here wants an XboxOne either! I think the x1 will struggle worldwide, to be honest.
The 360 is a very popular console here in the US, but even those who have loved their 360's this generation are steering clear of the X1 for obvious reasons. There will always be die-hards and brand loyalists (fanboys) to buy the X1, but not enough to really sway sales I don...
I tried to read this objectively, but I still come away with a bad taste in my mouth over the X1..
Also the author says "Gamers have been begging for games to go discless for a long time now, but now that it’s here they can’t deal with the implications of it." Really? Never once in any gaming circle have i EVER heard someone say (or type) "gee I sure wish videogames were discless"
I'm sorry to say it, but this whole thing sounds lik...
Yea, but I trust EA to tell the truth about as much as I would trust Kim Il Sung to baby sit nuclear warhead.
Honeslty I'm not surprised Peter Moore is backpedaling and tryng to look like the good guy, Given all the bad press EA got last year. Between online-passes, Being named by Forbes as the worst corporation for consumers, and then most recently coming under fire for laying off something like a couple hundred people to make the company "more profitable", no ...
This is all a bit silly, I think. All this hemming and hawing over a 7.5 review score? I could understand if it got a 6, or anything below a 7, but I think we are forgetting that 7.5 is a good score. Definitley not a "troll" score.
Jeez.. gamers are so entitled these days. Everyone thinks that if a highly anticipated game doesn't get 9's and 10's that the reviewers are trolls or fanboys or something.
Just f*cking play the game and ...
From the interview, as stated by this MS rep:
"I think it's fair to say there's a segment of consumers at this show in particular who really pay attention, who are very passionate about all aspects of gaming, and that we listen to closely. In a broader set of community, people don't pay attention to a lot of the details. We've seen it in the research, we've seen it in a lot of the data points."
So right there ^^^^^ he basically a...
I am not suggesting the XboxOne was a good idea from MS. We all know the XB1 is garbage and you and I both are probably steering clear of MS products in the coming generation of consoles. I was just pointing out how for the last several years the ps3 crowd was all over how "terrible it was" that MS charged a sub fee for XBL and PSN was free" and and all that. But now that Sony turns around and does the same thing, that same crowd is okay with it...all is forgiven. It's ...
N4G 2006-2012: "I can't believe MS charges you just to play your games online.. That's so stupid that I have to pay a fee to use my internet which I already pay for.."
N4G 2013: "Sony will be forcing me to pay for plus membership to play online!! AWESOME!!! I'll happilly pay!"
smh... oh, N4G...
Wow. Pachter finally gets one right...
Yea, I'm not sure what he means by this either:
'Spencer points out that these days people expect their library to be with them."Any other device that you own, your library is digital. Frankly, if you're on the PC, or a Steam customer, or an App Store customer on iOS devices -- this is how you think about your library of content."'
I don't think about my gaming library needin to to 'move' with me. This is a rediculous st...
Ok, bickering about which company has the better console or exclusives=fairly normal for a gaming website. Bickering about which company has the better/smarter/funnier PR spokespeople is SAD! SAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!
All that really matters is that we learn the ps4 release date. It was not disclosed in this article. This wasn't news. This was a TWEET... with NO INFORMATION.
