Most of you bitched for years about how it was wrong for MS to "charge us for using our internet" just to play games online.
Now you are applauding Sony for doing the same thing.

I love Forza... No plans to get an Xbox One anytime soon though.. I will need to wait for a price drop, but this will be the first game I buy for the console if I do eventually get one!

MiasmaDodo, Madden's Raiders has a fair point. there are exeptions to the rule, and there are plenty of people who play CoD and don't act like tools over the microphone. But you have to admit that the majority (or at least the majority that wear microphones) of the dedicated CoD online community typically act like racist, sexist, immature inbreds in online matches. And if you play a lot of online MP, that kind of behavior is more prevalent in the CoD online matches than any other MP ...
I agree.. It felt like RE4 was the last truly "great" game in the series. I thought RE5 was pretty good and enjoyed it, but it got panned by a lot of gamers and critics. I haven't even played RE6 yet, as I havent heard a single good thing about it from anyone, and the price hasnt dropped enought to warrant my own investigation into said claims.
Why not both? They come out two months apart from each other (and WatchDogs release date for Next Gen consoles is actually "TBA")
And after all, they are both gonna be two totally different experiences.. unless GTA just isn;t your thing.

Exactly! I think It drives most gamers mad that the year's most anticipated games almost always release between the end of september through the start of December.

Agreed. And in addition to Naughty Dog being truly talented devs, we are still playing games on current gen systems that are running on engines that were orignally designed years ago. Quake engine anyone?? Talented devs can take an old engine and present a great game on it.
I;m sure whatever ND puts out for the Ps4 will truly be "next-gen".. I'm not worried about what engine they use
Smoovekid, I agree with what you said to a degree, but I think the bigger problem is the anonymity of social media and the fact that people will typically act like complete a**holes when given a veil of anonymity and are far away from getting returned personal criticism or a punch in the face from whoever they are disagreeing with.

I am looking forward to Drive Club, but will miss Forza 5 terribly, as I have NO plans to support Microsoft after the whole fiasco. GT5 was a major dissapointment to me when I finally got to play it. dale_denton, you never played a Forza game. It gets way better than "getting out of your car and checking your engine" in Forza. Not only can you get out and interact with waaaaaaay more than just the engine, but even better.. it's all narrated with technical and cheeky commentary from Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson. It's called "Autovista".

There's nothing wrong with financial backing of a game development project at all, and I'm positive that's the reason why 99% of console exclusives are "exclusive" to one company's brand. But where MS has been touting the power of the XB1's cloud memory and what not, I thought this article was going to say that this game would be only possible on Xbox because of it's tecnical specs.. Kinda like what Hideo Kojima said about why MGS4 was not possible on Xbox 3...
Only games I played on the list were Resistance 2 and Lost:Via Domus. Resistance 2 was not the greatest game in the series by any means, but nothing that I would feel guilty about telling folks I've played it. Same with the Lost videogame. It was pretty garbage, but a lot of hardcore Lost fans played it (like me). I didn't "hate" it, but it could've been done alot better and a lot more thought couldve been put into it.

It's pretty clear from reading the article that the only thing MS did to "make this possible" was to write Remedy a blank check with the one condition that it would only release on the XB1. Not because of the "power of the cloud" or some garbage like that.. (that's actually what I was expecting, tbh!)
Now that Sony wants to add cable TV function, suddenly all the people that "only wanted to play games on their game console" are pumped to watch TV on their PS4.
