Yea, Nobody in my clan played Metro seriosuly. It was only used for quickly levelling up guns and equipment and boosting stats, since the middle of the map was nothing but a killbox
@ Rikiude_Furame,
I don't think the largest percentile of CoD fans, at this point anyway, are serious gamers like us. At this point, CoD has become a pop-culture phenomenon, and it's just en vogue to own it and play it right now, because everyone else is doing it. That's where the sales numbers are coming from.
Sadly, the hardcore gamers--the most vocal community in gaming--is also the smallest minority of people who own game consoles. In other ...
This article is using metacritic as it's source for low review scores--probably not the best source, since much of it is user contributed and we've all seen how easy it is for people to manipulate scores on metacritic by posting their own low score.
Other articles posted to N4G this morning, have IGN rating it 8.8 or something, and a reveiw I aw yesterday gave it an 8-point-something..
any kind of 8 is still a great score for a lazy game
Battlefield is definitley my pick for my go-to online shooter. I find it more strategic, more tactical, overall more fun, and the community is way more mature. CoD has it's place though. Once in a while, it's fun to just pop in Black Ops 2 and go hog wild running and shooting with reckless abandon.
If you could only have one, I'd go with Battlefield. To me there's just more satisfaction when you take down an enemy or capture a position. In CoD, when you ki...
colonel, I'm not getting any ads in the middle of the page.
As far as this Pocketstation, I'm not sure what it is either, but it looks to be some sort of GameBoy looking neo-retro GigaPet type thing.
And it depends on how much you are into that sort of thing for it to be relevant to you. Is it Relevant to the west? Doubtful... It's Probably about as relevant as the hordes of obscure and bizzare J-RPG's that never make their way to the west.
No, you got disagree's because it sounds like a dumb idea.
Gozer, as I understand it Premium is a one-time fee of $50, and if you buy premium now for current gen consoles, the premium account is transferrable to next gen systems which you buy BF4 on.. at least that's how I read the terms and conditions in the Playstation Store.
I also think Kharg would've been a better choice than Op Firestorm, but at least we still get Caspian Border and Gulf of Oman!

The people that line up for the midnight release of CoD are more than likely very casual gamers who can't wait to see which of their dude-bro friends can make the most immature butt-joke related player card logo.
Those people aren't playing CoD every year because they love videogames, they are playing CoD every year because it's the "cool" pop culture wave right now, and all their buddies are doin' it.

I don't know that anything could soften the burn of Drive Club's delay... except maybe Forza 5, but no Xbone for me anytime soon. But that's just me... I haven't played an NFS game that I liked since NFS Carbon. I'm more of a sim racer guy.
GenericNAme, - I'm totally with you, man! I got it for ps3 and it looks like a dried turd. Obviously worse in multiplayer, as some textures fail to load at all...I'm really confused, because BF3 looked AWESOME on ps3! (BF4 seriously looks way worse than 3). Seriously, this game has graphics like Homefront!
Honestly, I seriously think its a conspiracy theory that DICE nerfed the console graphics on purpose, just so the ps4/XB1 version looks that much better to peopl...
andrewer, I kind of agree. I'm really enjoying BF4, but Its obvious to me that DICE (read "EA") is really gunning straight for the CoD crowd with the newer additions to BF4, like the field upgrades (which are essentially the same as "perks" from CoD), all the rediculous camo and paint patterns for soldiers and vehichles, and the fact that the new console controller layout is the EXACT carbon copy of the CoD controller layout.. presumable so It will be easier for CoD n...
If you're not going to buy BF4 because of the short campaign then you're not really into Battlefield. No serious BF player would boycott their purchase because of a lame single player campaign. ALL of the replay value is in the thousands of hours you sink into the multiplayer.
Regardless of which console flag people wnat to fly, if we're arguing about which CURRENT GEN conlsole BF4 looks better on, you're all grasping at straws.
BF4 looks like a dried turd on the ps3 and 360, simply put. I'm not all that upset about it, because Battlefield has been my prefered online shooter this gen, but graphically speaking it looks like a launch title, graphically.
It would make more sense to compare the ps4/XB1 versions where there ...
When CoD first became really popular, those early games in the series still had compelling stories with intersting characters and a campaign of substantial length. Same thing when Battlefield bad company came to consoles.. cool story, unique characters, fun campaign that wasn't too short or too long
But by this point in military FPS games, I think all we need is the multiplayer. I don't need to have anymore knife fights with bad guys as we fall from a burning cargo ...
Godoftheweek, you speak the truth, but don't expect any of these dense knobs on N4G to understand what you are talking about, or even to think about what they say before saying it.
Part of the fun in these comments sections is watching people have incoherent verbal diareah and then try to back track and eat their words when confronted with intelligent talking points.
Are you people really that blind?? DICE/EA have been using PC footage of Battlefield to market the game on current consoles since BF3. And they've done it on BOTH consoles. Do you think this will change, as they market the next gen versions, and related BF promo's like tournaments, etc?
Yep, that's right, even your precious little angel, SONY used PC footage in its ads for the ps3 versions of BF3 and 4.
Furthermore, This isn't even news it...
This looks great, but it's hard to tell if that's a choppy framerate, or if it's just the youtube vid..
I just got BF4 for ps3, and I have to say it is FUN as hell, BUT-- it looks like absolute garbage! It looks, in fact, so much worse on the ps3 than BF3 did, that I am now concocting the crazy conspiracy theory that DICE left out certain graphical features in order to make the ps4/XB1 version of the game look like it was head-and-shoulders above the current gen ...
The price difference is the biggest deal for me (during the first year of launch anyway). That's that same reason that I got a 360 first before I got a ps3.. at the time I was looking to upgrade from my ps2, the 360 was $400, while the ps3 was $600..
Other than price, I do plan on owning both consoles at some point. But def ps4 first, then when XB1 has price drop and the time is right for my budget...I'll own one of those too
Ps4 will definitely sell well at launch!!
I mean, I can't even pre-order one at any brick and mortar store in the US right now! So much for me getting one at launch :-( And, as a matter of fact, the demand seems so high, that I'm afraid I won't be able to get my hands on one until the summer :-(
What I really want to know is, are they going to fix the texture loading on ps3!? The ps3 versions seriously looks like its on ps2.. I don't understand why, because Bf3 looked amazing on ps3
