Give me a slightly more balanced game than MW2, 16 new infinity ward style maps, and dedicated servers. And stop mentioning BF3, they need to earn the spotlight with their product this October.
Everyone loves to be a fanboy. Both should be awesome, and quite a bit different gameplay wise.
Maybe they are realizing that hyping up the PC as their lead platform lost them a boat load of console sales. And now they are trying to backtrack.

I think this series would benefit from games like mass effect 2 or crysis 2. Where it feels like you are playing against enemies with a brain, that take cover regularly and work as a team. I'd rather have fewer smart enemies on the screen than an endless number of target dummies. Agree or Disagree? (guess it depends on what style you like)
Hicken, did you read the article? MW2 is quite a bit different than MW1. And if it were a lot of the same as MW1, what is wrong with that? You want a crazy brand new game every single iteration?? The battlefield series has not changed a ton over the years either. If you want a brand new game go play something else.

Well I guess we'll agree to disagree. In my opinion the multiplayer for WaW was a straight copy of MW1 with new guns n killstreaks. And same goes for Black Ops to MW2. Except Treyarch still hasn't figured out how to get rid of the slight lag. I would even say the graphics are sharper in MW2 than Black Ops.
