Yup, I just watched that 360 footage of medal of honor warfighter. The BF3 PC trailers from a couple years ago still blow it out of the water. My fault for trying to get a half-decent answer on N4G.

I’m not trying to be sarcastic in my first post. I play 360 only. I just don’t get people saying that 360 versions of games look anywhere close to PC. You are saying there’s a 360 game out right now that compares to BF3 PC?
Somebody help me out here, how can you look at BF3 PC vs 360 and say that there is still lots of power left in the 360? I know BF3 has large maps and is a powerhouse of an example.. but pretty much every game I play on 360 I can go look at PC footage and my jaw drops at how amazing PC graphics are. Please explain =)
Why all the N4G hate for CoD? Shouldn’t you be hating the OTHER devs who have yet to provide a substitute as fun and addictive on console? This game destroys everything in sales and number of people playing every. single. year. Thanks CoD! ..not sure what the heck the rest of you devs are doing.

Great responses! Not entirely true on the 3rd one (i don't think). Pretty sure the enemies level as more people join your game. The game was easily soloable. If someone had problems with the first mini-boss they may have been going in the wrong direction or should have done more side quests.

For the average console gamer, consoles = convenience. Plug headset into controller, sit on couch and have a good time with friends. The age is showing and a lot of people do want that option to upgrade graphically. If you don’t have the money for a new console, then keep playing the old one. If you don’t want consoles released because you are invested in PC-gaming and you want to maintain your current huge graphical edge, then you are immature. Did you select advanced tooltips in the options? That adds a lot more detail.
Edit: Yeah I’m with you on that one. It’s one thing to completely hide the math which a lot of people love, but at least let us know that you buried it in the options somewhere and we have the choice to turn it back on! =)

BF3 did look Amazing. On PC. Anyone who thinks console graphics are still amazing are delusional. This is coming from a console player.
Why would you want cutting edge graphics on 7-year-old hardware? There should be more articles titled “No improvements to console hardware in 2012”
No story here until next gen consoles arrive. Even if the annual releases act as map packs there’s plenty of addiction to keep the train rolling for the next 2 years. It will be interesting to see what they come up with for the new consoles.

If you actually hated the game, you would simply go sell it used and get some of your money back. But you are so addicted to both the gameplay and the opportunity to complain to everyone that you’ll hang onto it and keep playing for 15 hours a week.
