YAY! finally, it was a no brainer. Japanese demo was so much even though I virtually understood very little , the fighting was fun. Love the post apocalyptic setting and the boss fights.
Keep the good news coming Sega.
They'll have a good mix of Western and Japanese titles judging by what they have announced so far. I'd rather what Japanese games they're developing and how far along is FF7R.
I wonder if the cars will transform, I actually enjoyed the flying and boating areas. It was really fun. looking forward to this.
That's the only thing holding it back. I'd argue artistic freedom. It did some things right and others wrong but the game itself cannot condemned for using old archetypes.
It needs an HD remake for sure. Such a great classic, alas, Clover studio is no more. In capable hands, it could be brought back. Platinum games could take on this endeavor.
DMC, Okami sequel, Breath of Fire, Megaman 11, Viewtiful Joe. One can only dream.
I wish there was a sequel to El Shaddai or a port to PS4. The gameplay and art direction were great, just needed a more stable FPS. It can be achieved.
I am enjoying my time with it. I am glad couch co-op games are not going anywhere and it's now easily done with two already available controllers. Casual enough to allow anyone to play and have a great time. Deep enough for those who like to compete online for that leaderboard glory.
I think some consumers want tried and true games that have had a lot of iterations because the gameplay feels familiar, regardless of how stale it can get.
Others are more adventurous and will give games with a "different" art direction a go (my cup of tea).
I've enjoyed what Platinum games has aimed for in terms of art direction. An art style that's out there will often catch my eyes. Persona 5, Ni no Kuni, Okami, Viewtiful Joe, El Shaddai, Gravity Rush, ...
It looks really cool, caught my eyes the moment I saw it. I hope it has a fun theme song. It has a nice retro vibe too.
You missed the mark. It is for ALL the players, whether it is about sexual orientation and or gender identity. Sony has members of the LGBTQ+ working for them and playing their systems/consoles and they want to celebrate them, one month of the year, what is wrong with that?
People are so fixated on the "act of the sex" when it comes to LGBTQ+ people.
You can't tell me that Sony or any major corporation do not cater to heterosexuals almost all year long, lol. ...
It breaks my heart just the same man. I think I'd do some really shady sh*t just to get an HD collection of all three games, lol. I mean if Shenmue can rise from the ashes, why can't we get together to claim Shining Force as the next series that needs revival?
It's been put in a slow cooker, get your buns toasted and your coleslaw ready, it's coming out shredded n tasty.
Just get this one right, Square. They are hyper critical of the progress it is making so it'll take a while.
E3 might reveal something, or not.
Damn! Who knew Cody was such a bad ass!? Daddy AF! lol
What the hell happened to Haggar?
Final Fantasy VII: remake.
Kingdom hearts 3.
Legend of Dragons remake by the studio that remade Shadow of the colossus (it's gonna happen, trust n believe)
BloodBorne 2.
Killzone or Horizon Zero Dawn 2.
Japan Studio's new game or Gravity Rush 3 (one can only hope)
Dark Cloud 3 by level 5 (??)
I'd like to see a Mario RPG developed by Square's studios or Camelot Software, turn based but not a SJRPG's like Rabbid's, although I love Strategy Jrpg's, that one didn't catch my attention.
Kid Icarus. Metroid like the SNES days.
Fire Emblem or Advanced Wars. Golden Sun (allow Camelot to do what they do best, great JRPG's)
Animal crossing (summer release, I love lounging around and playing it at the pool).
Monolith Soft new gam...
It has pros and cons but no overall score, which allows readers to make up their minds on whether they'd like to pick it up or not rather than to be guided by a number.
I don't know that the word antiquated works here since some of these titles hold up really well gameplay wise. The save anywhere feature is always welcome and was also present on the last collection.
I love E3 but I must confess that I might like TGS even more...? I just love Japanese games!
I do enjoy satire, it was a fun read. Might pick this up when it's cheaper.
