I hope it's multi platform. It deserves a wide exposure like Shenmue was able to get.
Saga would need to be redone from the ground up which is how a lot of remasters have been done this gen.
A lot of there were remade without the source code. It's a matter of finding a great developer to get it done.
Panzer Dragoon Saga isn't a long game and all of it can be condensed in one CD.

I hope we can all come together in support of this remake and that forever entertainment are capable developers.
I must say, it's the first that I hear of them but they have developed games for pc, xbox, ps4, switch.
I hope Panzer Dragoon Saga is next to get a remaster. It truly is the best game out of the whole series.
Good that Sega continues to remaster old IPs. Makes me hopeful that Shining Force 3 will be next.

Congrats to BioDead.

I am going to go with the design of the Colossi in shadow of the colossus.
Especially the water dragon and the flying Sand Serpent, although all of their designs are next to godliness.
The bird in the water temple is probably the most frustrating but the most satisfying battle when it soars to incredible heights and the wind mechanics kick in.
Whether you fight them for the first time or the 30th time, the sense of awe is ...

@Beuhlaland, not to seem ungrateful, thank you for replying (here's my thanks) but you brought nothing to the conversation. Just simpleton semantics that my 6th grade students know not to bring forward.
They learn to read for comprehension, debate both sides of the argument then reply based on the opinion they formed, often lead by research. To that, I'm grateful.
I hope this clears up things for you.
OT, games are made by people as you so coyly expressed...

Some of you need to let go of the idea that some games are trying to push a certain agenda.
You want to know what the agenda is? People.
Artists are allowed to express freely who surrounds them and who influence them the most, whether they are diversely ethnic, gay, trans, etc... Artists paint and sculpt based on what their environment is and how it has influenced them.
Some gamers live in such a small microcosm that they perceive their life experience as the "...

Open world games with contained areas with narratives and side quests that aren't fetching this and that.
I think the whole idea of side quests need to be refreshed. There needs to be more brainstorming on what is applicable to the game and what could be done on the side that doesn't feel out of place.
I am not into fishing quests or anything that breaks the pace of the game, unless it is after the game to enhance the experience.

I love RPG's the most. It truly what started my undying love for gaming. There's nothing like an RPG that presents an engrossing story and addicting gameplay mechanics that never get old.
I do love Western RPGs in the likes of Mass Effect, Dragon Origin, the Witcher.
But my heart belongs to JRPG's. The Shining Force series is my favorite hands down.
My other favorites are Panzer Dragon Saga, Dragon Force, Star Ocean, Grandia, the Chrono Series, as of ...

Nickle and diming for DLC that may continue a story or open a path to the story. Paid DLC for costumers, characters for a fighting game. It used to be that you played the game and you unlocked the characters.
Kudos to studios who offer free DLC to enhance the game they originally created.
And to your point Christopher, grinding for best gear , best story ending, or just loot hunting can be tedious but on the other side of that issue, I also don't want to pay for it and ...

I am not sure if my reply counted as a comment but I will stick with save states anytime anywhere.
I do want this to be implemented in all games moving forward. I am not sure why it wouldn't work for all types of gameplay granted that it is a single player adventure.
I am also with you on the camera comment, it can make or break a game. I need camera to work in and out of combat or gameplay when it is in tight corners.

You know what was actually great this time around with God of War, aside from the game being impeccable, the save state. You can save any time anywhere and not redo a big portion of the game.
That should be a standard for all games. You can save at anytime, anywhere. We are all busy and perhaps we cannot game more than half n hour to an hour.
I'd want JRPG's to follow suit and allow us to save anytime. More games are implementing this and it's making time manag...

Indie games have made great strides this year to come to the forefront of what everyone is playing and talking about. Hollow Knight, Monster Boy, Celeste, Owl Boy, Dead Pixels, just to name a few.
The fact that even Nintendo embraced them and placed on their featured list in the Eshop proves that Indie games have been extremely successful this generation. Their quality has improved as well, and it's allowed independent studios to thrive and remain independent to preserve their vi...

Yeah I sure hope so. I liked the game. I couldn't play it. I suppose people disagreed with my motion sickness , lol.
I love Ape escape and I so happy about Spyro reignited.

I'm picking Medievil not to be controversial in the least. I found the gameplay to be too choppy and the camera gave me motion sickness. It is such a beloved classic but I just couldn't have fun with it. I hope the remaster corrects these two issues for me. I'd love to experience this without feeling uncomfortable.
I also loved Demon Souls but the crushing difficulty made it hard for me to go back and pursue my journey. It just wasn't for me since I'd play for ho...

Shining Force 3, the pinnacle of strategy JRPG. It had a strong political plot that anyone could follow with twists and turns no one would have expected. It had great level design with enemies appearing out of nowhere when you thought you were finally winning the battle. The magic casting was incredible. Recruiting new members for the Shining Force was beyond satisfying. The soundtrack is still the best I've ever heard.

YES! The first console I ever owned. Alex Kidd and Wonder Boy!

Truly an amazing Franchise. Keeps the Strategy JRPG into mainstream and I cannot wait for 2019 and the expo.

A brief vision, alas no gameplay. I'd rather see a tactical JRPG on the Ps4 and Switch.

The switch is also another portable NeoGeo, lots of incredible games on it. If you like old school beat them ups and fighting games, as well shoot them ups, it's the place to be. The Vita will go down as an incredible piece of tech that got overlooked. Still playing mine to this day.

They've done a magnificent job with the remaster. If you're into platformers and you're looking for a great time, good writing and awesome level design. that's your game.

I might go for Freedom Planet. They just added a demo for those who aren't quite sure. Check it out.
