I don't mind it at all when developers add longevity to a game with meaningful additions. The Luigi balloon game is a nice feature. A postcard, however, seems bleak. DLC with a new world would be nice but I'm all for free goodies.
Maybe I'm overly optimistic, but this is their flagship title and they're putting all of their resources into it. It will without a doubt break sales record if it's well implemented and they are fully aware of that. The nostalgia riding this title is major.
I guess most of us are wondering if it will stay true to its core gameplay (turn based) or will be it action based like FFXV is?
I, like many others, wanted a revamped version of a cult classic. So we will j...
I must say the show got you hooked from the 1st season on with amazing story telling and what seemed to be an endless budget for a tv show. Alas, the last couple of seasons were lackluster, at least to me. As if they had not anticipated the ending in sight and was writing it as the show went along.
I think it'd provide great feedback (for the most part) to the developers if the gamers could leave reviews. Now, not all opinions are valid, and some are even skewed by emotions or whims of negative criticism.
PSN's had that feature for years and the well deserved games and some unknown get great review scores because they are worthy of a purchase. I often look at my fellow gamers have written about the game to see if I'd like it and then pursue to watch some gameplay ...
I like everything I've experienced from the demo, it is a solid turn based JRPG with a beautiful soundtrack! I cannot wait til it releases. The story telling is top notch!
Paint me excited for Fire Emblem and a new Metroid Prime, among other amazing titles. I know a new Luigi mansion will be announced as well as Pikmin. Bayonetta 3 will be day one! I'd love to see a new Kid Icarus as well, love the 3ds game but it hurt my hands after a while lol
I want that jacket the presenters are wearing, would be cool swag to have with pre-order or premium edition.
The gameplay looks really smooth. It looks like fun playing with others and slicing up titans.
cool, not that I'll understand much but I'll give it a try. Surely it plays more or less like the other titles in the franchise with some new mechanics.
lol, I get it. Just the attention it seeks for a subject I don't mind reading nor talking about.
Sex is in all medium, pixels or not, I can handle it. Sex is a plot device and it does have a place and time.
It's just the clickbait of it all.
whoa, not a prude but that pic is out there lol. Is that even okay for N4G?
Don't find it necessary to have sexy time in my games but if it furthers the plot or the devs' deem it necessary, then no harm no foul.
Cool, I'll check it out and it's free :)
Makes me want to have a Luigi's haunted mansion even more for the Switch. I know it's coming. They could even re-release the one on the 3ds with more areas and then do a new title.
I played it! Now I don't know a lick of Japanese, however, the fighting portions of the game were super fun. I grew up on the fist of the north star so to see a game surround this dystopian universe is incredible. The past games have been decent at best, but this looks and feels solid. I love the story, I love Ken Shiro's character, cool calm collected and will wreck your vital organs in 7 seconds. It is a must buy for me. I wish they'd use that approach with other universes. I...
And most of them originated on the spectacular Sega Saturn! What a beast it was at the time. Sega truly failed at launching a console that had incredible IPs, a library that is still to this day incomparable and innovative. I still play all of the titles you mentioned (well, most of them).
They truly did a remarkable job. I've had a great time going back into the game I played originally on the ps2. The FPS and the clarity of this HD remake makes it more enjoyable. But was the camera always that jerky , like someone mentioned earlier, I find myself fighting it cause it wants to re-center itself, not cool during a fight or while riding agro and shooting arrows. Maybe there's an option to disable it...?
Incoming remix of an already infectious song. Utada knows how to write and produce, saw her twice in concert, impeccable vocalist. She's Japanese music royalty. I'd highly recommend listening to her whole body of work.
Aside from that, great to see new worlds and footage of the game.
I was fully aware that the shining games started as Shining in the Darkness, however, this title that's about to release is far from the roots of what the shining series used to be. This is a time a dozen JRPG with the title shining attached to it. I'd rather they release another Shining in the Darkness (1st person dungeon crawlers ) or a SF type of game because at least those ones had something unique to them, strong gameplay, great soundtracks and a captivating story. Shining resona...
Just got mine and I pre-ordered the game, woot! Now I need to get over my fear of the water dragon area and battle...creepy under water battle sequence sends me shivers.
This is nowhere near what a Shining Force game used to be. It's just using the name. I'd wish the IP would return in capable hands, i.e. Camelot games, and they have expressed interest in doing it. It's in Sega's hands now, which means...well, not a whole lot lol.
I just pre-ordered it this morning with my prime discount (phew!) . I just had to, it's an entire overhaul of the graphics and performance. I kept looking at all the recently released videos and I had to have it. Even though I've played it multiple times, including on the ps3. Great game.
That is a hard one to dethrone. Incredible software, it has an unparalleled game catalog. Incredible hardware, I'm certain people still play their day one SNES console.
Best couch co-op games at the time and maybe to this day, SF2, super bomberman, Secret of mana, double dragon, battletoads, final fight series, etc...
