WOW, I cannot recall when the last contest was on N4G. It is welcome with open arms. What great loot!
Either of these consoles would be a great prize to win.
Good luck to everyone, myself included hehe.
It was Alex Kidd on the Sega Mastersytem. I am truly showing my age lol
Then it was that New Zealand Kiwi rescue game and Sonic, among other games.
Also played the Legend of Zelda and Duck hunt at my cousin's.
Shining Force
Grandia
Star Ocean
New Chrono entry
Suikoden
Landstalkers/LadyStalkers/Dar kSavior/Time Stalker series
Lunar
Wild Arms
Dark Cloud
Secret of Mana
Shining in the darkness/the holy ark.
In the same token, I'd love to see the games that made it to the top 10 be re-released or continued. Shenmue is making a grand comeback and I couldn't be happier for those who enjoy this series. However, there are still many amazing IP's that need to be revived and we cannot let Sega just release the same ones over and over again (not talking about Shenmue).
As far as I am concerned, it's the fear of missing out, especially if the game reviews/footage make it to be too good to pass. I'll wait for a great sale, then jump on it when I've waited long enough (the wait can be gruesome lol).
There are times when I am not ready for certain games on a grander scale bc I am already knee deep in a couple of games, so I'll wait to beat one and then jump into a new game. I have many purchases I have not played but I am so happy that...
I honestly just signed up for it yesterday just I could play as Uremashi :) I hope he's included as well as other Yu Yu Hakusho fighters, wish there was a dedicated game just for them.
YES! I am so glad the campaign was successful. I was but a small cog in the grand scheme of getting this gamer his ultimate desire fulfilled. Gamers on Twitter can be extremely supportive and giving. Great community.
I don't like it when the two genres are mixed in. The reading is long and the battles can be long as well. Sometimes, I just to get to the battles. SJRPG is my fav genre, minus the visual novel part.
Heck yeah!! YATATATATA! you'll be dead in 7 seconds.
Definitely buying this game for the Kenshiro, fist of the north star atmosphere.
I AM LOSING MY DAMN MIND!!!!! Is this real? I just Tweeted Sega for confirmation. My heart can't take it!
Are we talking of the same company who are sending cease and desist letters to ROM sites threatening to sue them ? Because that to me seems like greed. And do not give me the run about protecting their IP's. This has affected all older consoles and older games.
Talk about hypocrisy.
I love my Switch and I love Nintendo games but I don't have to blindly love every decision they make especially at the detriment of the industry/hobby they supposedly want to protect.
This is , to me, the best news I'll ever hear all year. I mean, what else could top that as lover of true classic JRPG's??
The first two of the series are without a contest, the best!!
Way to go Gungho online. Let's see if Sega can follow suit.
The Switch is rapidly becoming my preferred console, more JRPG goodness!
Shining Force (not that Resonance crap, generic as hell)
Panzer Dragoon Saga (and main entries)
Phantasy Star
Landstalker/Darkstalker
Shining the Holy Ark / In the darkness
Virtual On (we need western releases)
Burning Rangers
Nights into Dreams
Guardian Heroes ( Code of Princess pales in comparison)
Streets of Rage (looks at how successful Dragon's crown was)
Sakura Wars / Sakura Taisen
This is a real shame, especially because it is the greedy actions of one that's creating this domino effect.
Emuparadise held all sorts of ROM's of now defunct consoles (as in no longer in production) and whose game sales do not benefit the developers anymore.
Whatever format you currently have your original games on will not last forever, hell, the former gen consoles we love, won't last forever. Sites like these keep those games intact.
What are we ...
It is such a great anime! I'm going to check out the open beta for sure.
Is there any more that needs to be revealed aside from new game characters? Perhaps a new game mode or two.
I mean we saw such a detailed video last E3, I couldn't watch it all I got bored, sorry just being honest. It was so technical it took all the fun out of it.
I want to know more about the other games they have announced at E3 that got very little coverage. I'll still tune in in the hopes of other announcements but I'm not all that hopeful.
Fan translations save these games from oblivion for those who appreciate JRPG's.
I played Magic Knight Rayearth on my Saturn and it's great. Not the same type of gameplay judging from the vid.
Terry as in Terrie would have been a cute name change to go along with the transformation. Her move set is fierce.
This is not the Arc the Lad I remember. It seems to be a strategy RPG, perhaps like Fire Emblem Heroes?
I do want to get my hands on it if it gets released in the West, gotta give it the benefit of the doubt.
Duck hunt is definitely one of my first memories. I remember playing it at my cousin's house.
It wasn't til we got a Sega Mastersytem that I truly got sucked into the world of videogames. Alex Kidd was everything to me. Also owned Wonderboy. Games were so tough back then, brutal to kids my age lol
