oh ok that's very reassuring :)
I am utterly shocked that it hasn't sold more. It truly is an amazing game. Story, gameplay, customizations, finding all the blades. Torna is also great DLC that feels like an actual game, wonderful prequel.
Monolith Soft are incredible developers.
So glad for Sega's revival of their classic games: Virtual on, Panzer Dragoon, Sonic Mania (Sonic 2d style), Streets of Rage, Sakura Wars, Puyo Puyo (not my favorite)
I think for me it was EA and their handling of BattleFront 2, what a mess. The game never quite recovered.
Also the chopped up story parts for FF 15 and all the DLC's sporadically released. Having to come back to the game to piece them back together was not cool at all.
Nintendo's handling of the online component for the Switch was and is still lackluster.
dang, it seems like you have it all covered up. Quite the memory. I am impressed.
Well not for all gamers but for me at least, can't speak on behalf of everyone.
In my humble opinion, Square Enix, Octopath, FF 15, World of FF, Nier : automata (publisher) and DQ 11 for me.
Sega did well with Yakuza, fist of the north star, sega ages, Persona 5 and other Atlus centric games.
Platinum games with Nier: automata.
Bethesda
Gearbox
Sony Japan, although I love GR2. I feel like they were helping other studios on other projects.
Keiji inafune and his team
Bioware
Nolan North and Troy Baker and guess what? They have a Youtube channel if you want to see them play retro games and showcase their amazing vocal talents. It's my favorite show on Youtube right now! SUuuunset riiiideeerrs! :)
Oh and whoever voices Toad is a genius lol
LOL can't say anyone hurt me but I wasn't too fond of the voice acting choices by Riku and Tidus in FFX. On the other hand, I loved Waka! :)
I need to get back into this game!
YES DISCOUNTS! Thank you Amazon for making these Nintendo games more affordable. The warehouse is where it's at when it comes to a good bargain, granted that it's in good condition.
I might plunge into let's go Pikachu against my good will lol
These are beloved franchises. Of course we want to see them return, bonus if the camera and the gameplay has been reworked to match current gen and if bugs/glitches have been removed.
A lot of these stand the test of time even in their original format.
OffTopic: why do y'all comment and not approve the article? Let's get some article variety coming, shall we?
This DLC delivery format was not what I expected in the long run. It is so hard to get back to a game when you moved on with other equally amazing games. It came too little too late and I hope SE learn from their mistakes. I love the FF15 universe and I am semi interested in this but not willing to pay any more. I have other games to purchase.
Alright lucky 13, here we go.
I don't know a lot of about the industry when it comes to developer's names. However, George Kamitani is one name I'll always remember. At the helm of VanillaWare, everything he creates is a feast for the eyes. Beautiful 2d games with complex art design.
Congrats to Chris092
Peter Molyneux had a lot to say last generation and at the beginning of this gen, and yet no games came.
No major innovation came and where is the Fable series now?
I don't mind an outspoken developer but your achievements need to match what you put out.
hehe, you were a step ahead of me. Also gave a huge Ueda shout out, along with George Kamitani of VanillaWare studios.
Oh and congrats to Oasdada.
Fumito Ueda, the way he designs his worlds and characters to push the boundaries of any console he's worked on is incredible. Him and his amazing team have given us Ico, shadow of the colossus (my favorite design) and the last guardian. His style is distinctive and his game are always highly anticipated. The man's creative mind is pure genius.
I also need to give George Kamitani a huge shoutout because his work will live in infamy. Princess crown, Dragon's crow...
I'm thinking about these uninspired mascots from the mid 90s that were desperately trying to look like Sonic or Mario, often an animal or a hybrid of some sort. Even brands got in with pepsiman, that guy from sprite (tall lean awkward lookin' fella) , (cool spot from 7up was actually awesome) and the Noid from Domino's.
Rocky Rodent, Awesome Possum, Bubsy, Titus the fox, Zero the Kamikaze , all fondly loved and remembered, am I right? Oh and that electric duck.
I don't want PD Saga to be changed in concept. It needs to remain turn based , same story, same battles. I wouldn't mind more content to enhance the story, more open areas to fly and battle. Perhaps, play as Azel in some parts when she escapes the empire.
It has so much potential since the battles are never quite the same til you learn the enemies' patterns.
It needs to retain that dynamic formula.
Agreed, or 4.
At least to be able to provide some sort of variety in the games. 2 isn't enough for the increased membership.
The ps5 isn't out yet to provide that sort of service for it. People are still playing their ps3 and vita's.
