There's a megadrive/ genesis game called Bahamut Senki and it is a strategy RPG that looks a lot like Dragon Force which was a great strategy game on the Saturn (I'd recommend it).
Sega interactive is listed as a developer (I think) and they haven't developed any JRPGs. I guess we have two more days to wait , tired of speculating, lol.
I will lose my sh*t if that's the case. I have been waiting for years!!!
If it's indeed a shining force, I hope it's a classic gameplay shining force! Like the ones on the genesis and the saturn (the saturn games being the best!).
Sega could do right, once again. I won't keep my hopes up but one can always dream.
I already have the bundle for the WiiU . I am playing through the first one and so far it has frame drop issues , I had already played the ps3 version (not so great but still playable). If the performance is improved on the first title ( I haven't played the second one yet) then I'll probably re-purchase it. Bayonetta at its core is a great action beat them up with over the top fights and boss battles. The 3rd one is almost an instant buy once I see how it performs.
I tried to play this on the Sega collection released on the ps3 but it was too dated for my taste (my opinion), however, I love love love Shining the holy ark and as you can see I love the shining force series (not anything after the saturn days). I want the game to make a comeback, at least an HD revamp.
Perfect, I was gonna pick them up on the vita and ps4, but I'll wait.
The Sega Saturn lives on! :) One can only wish. How's that sega console prototype doing btw? I haven't heard any news recently.
Google translate is a hell of a drug.
Wish Sega would release Dragon Force and the Shining Force series in HD. I'd buy day one.
They barely released a couple of Saturn titles last gen, they should let Atlus do it. Such great dormant IP's.
Didn't platinum games expressed a desire to continue the series and cross it with Bayonetta? I'd be all in whatever the case, main story line or cross over.
I'd pay someone to do my chores and run my errands so I can play more games, if I could afford it.
If you think the game (grinding, progressing) is a chore then play something else bc the merit system is gone at that point if someone else does it for you.
Some may argue that it may boring after a while to always play at maxed out settings. I like a healthy challenge in my games and sometimes I play games without much merit to relax.
Pile of shame? Nah, I am calling myself a "game collector" and eventually I'll dig back in to some of the games I purchased years ago, lol.
My pile spawns over different gens, Saturn, DC, WiiU, psVita, 3ds, ps2/ps3, ps4, Switch. So yep, game collector.
I know, that's what really cool about this "announcement." Their world could collide and make an amazing action beat them up game. I think Platinum games are experienced enough now to delve back into the DMC world and give it that smooth bayonetta gameplay.
Definitely looking forward to picking this up soon, been watching lots of gameplay footage, looks fun!
I don't understand why her opinion is under question. Write your own article if you're so adamant about what games are trash or not. Gaming is a hobby (for most of us, her included) that doesn't need further criticizing by the likes of anyone. Is it so hard to take an interest into others without projecting your own likes and dislikes? At the end of the day, she'll play whatever she feels like and so will you. She ain't hogging your tv lol
yeah I like the ability to just fire it up from the home screen but I'd like to get physical games in case the digital ones get pulled off or I'm running out of space. Physical has always been best if the console craps out and the game is no longer available digitally, I like to collect games.
Can't afford brand new so I had a used one on my hands initially but the left joy-con would disconnect even after troubleshooting and I didn't want to send it to Nintendo, so argued my case with Amazon who was misleading in their description, got a huge discount and free shipping/no taxes. They have been so late on shipping that I literally just paid $150 for the whole thing w one day delivery, can't beat that at target or best buy.
I don't know that I would announce it ahead of time if I were to plan a mega bomb surprise with gameplay. I don't see Squenix not having a presence.
Ugh if only Amazon would ship my Switch, I have Mario and Zelda waiting for me. Damn that shortage of stock. But like most, I'll be buying my games on cartridges, and some (when it's cheaper and there's no alternative) digitally.
I am also very impressed with what they were able to do to keep the title as close to the original in terms of performance. I've watched reviews upon reviews and the consensus is that it plays well, it performs well in most areas and it's great on the go and or docked.
Getting a switch in a few days and I am contemplating buying Doom.
This game is not going down in price any time soon and I want it so badly. I'd love to put in more than 100 hours into it. It'd be my first xenoblade that I play and I own the one on the wiiu.
