They are fighting with double-edge sword. They are bragging up and down about how more powerful the PS4 is compared every console which is true, but fail to address the performance gap between the PS4 and the PC because they are too insecure to admitting that anything is better than the their console of choice. They are in situation where they wanna have their cake and eat it too.
The article is also forgetting the multiple functionality that PC has to offer. It not only does gaming, but also can become a productivity machine. I can't close my game and at the very instance check my emails and do my homework assignments.
There different vendors to buy games from since the PC is much more open then consoles. I am stuck with Sony and Microsoft's proprietary service along with their terms and conditions. I would like see consistent sales going on e...
The proximity of the servers matter the most. The closer you are to the server, less time it will take for the server to ping take the data to the consoles. Obviously the more servers Microsoft has nationwide, the more reliable the service will become.

Witcher 2 with ubersampling turned on (beast of a game to play BTW), Crysis 3 Ultra settings (the gline showcase the particle effects from explosions quite well), Crysis 1 with mods (first game to implement HBAO for character reflection), Metro 2033: Last Light showcase an excellent display for tessellation on the models, Batman: Arkham City gave games with volumetric fog and paper drag effects.

I'm reading the comments and I really confused as to why these people are skeptical of the Microsoft's claim to stream assets of a game to give less stress in the GPU, yet these are these same people who cheering for Sony Now: a service that is about stream Entire games as its primary purpose.

I'm not going to lie and say that a 400 dollar PC is even worth building because the need for better hardware will surely come after futures will take more advantage of the next-generation hardware. I would recommend you invest in a 700 dollar PC to get your money's worth for the upcoming next-gen.

It makes sense. I remember having the same experience with Onlive with the input lag. The only way I can see this option taking off (at least in North America) is fiber op internet being the standard and there isn't a data cap.
That is bullcrap. If Gamestop offers a Low Price Guarantee on their preorders which INCLUDING first-party Sony games, then Sony should offer the same policy on PSN.

I could see DDR4 being a great benefit to AMD APU in the market. As you know APU uses system memory as the VRAM for gaming.
I disagree with him when he stated that personally he doesn't find any framerate above 30 will not make a difference. A game running at 60 frames will run much smoother with lesser lag input which can be very beneficial in twitch shooters.
Not necessarily slow by a great margin. The 770 is just just a rebranded 680 and the performance were neck and neck if I am not mistaken. I bought myself a GTX 770 4GB model to replace my 670 the performance gain was nonexistent in 1080p setting with all my games. I returned it dissatisfied with my purchase.

I wouldn't imagine Microsoft liking the idea of Respawn breaking their contract that Microsoft probably paid heavily to keep. Perhaps they are preparing to making the sequel and optimizing the engine to the PS4 early, or maybe they are making another game altogether.
That is entirely not true. You forgot that the PS4 doesn't support DLNA and the only way to stream music and video is to subscribe to Sony Music and other various streaming services. Music Unlimited alone is an additional 10 dollars a month or 120 dollars a year. Compared to the One's built-in DLNA support.
This is disappointing seeing that I myself doused in paid subscription plans to do something as simple as stream my own music and videos from PC.
