I love my PC and it will be my primary platform of choice, but even I know console gaming isn't going anywhere. It still outsells games by a margin than PC and publishers aren't willing to give up those numbers.

Unfortunately, there are those demographics who still think PC are way too complicated to play install and play games and they make up most of the market. So as long as those people exist ans still think that, then console gaming isn't going to change.

Unless PS Now adjust their rates to be more reasonable and fix the input lag I get from streaming games, then I can't see PS Now possible being better than EA Access.

It looks to be an accessory port for first and third party accessories.

Yeah, I agree. A processor clocked at under 2.0 Ghz is quite underwhelming. Even modern laptop Intel processors has some kind of boast core clock that can reach up to 3.0 Ghz during load.

If Microsoft makes a new console soon after the release of the Xbox One, then that is just spit to face those who already purchased the One. The Xbox One is indeed considerable weaker than the PS4 but that is hardly a reason to make such a radical decision since the most successful consoles weren't the most powerful (Wii, PS2, SNES, NES).

I don't see price cut happening until the sales growth start to reach its peak, and right now the PS4 is high in demand.

I absolutely disagree with the Halo franchise. Halo Combat Evolved was a game changer for the Xbox without a doubt, but Halo 2 was first console game to massively payed online because it so many things right with the ranking system and clan matches. It was also the first game to introduced Xbox Live.

But you forgetting that the memory stick duo was also memory format exclusively owned by Sony. The memory card was not the reason the PSP got hacked. It was because the the original 1.0 firmware did not have any security precaution to run unsigned code. So anyone could literally write a program for the PSP and run it with no troubles at all.

@kneon
The only way I can see this memory format taking off is if the memory card unit was used in other devices such as digital cameras and prices were more competitive with the standard SD card. Until those changes happen, it gonna take in the PS Vita.

Because like all companies, Sony wants to make a profit and because they are the sole owners of this memory format they can.

You should never unnecessarily open your ports on your router or firewall, and this article is telling to open many ports. You will be much more vulnerable to getting hacked and I would research which exactly which ports to open for which service.

Bungie did collaborate with Sony for exclusive content, but nothing is heard so far about anything that Bungie did specifically in particular to take advantage the hardware of PS4. There are articles talking about Bungie using the extra 15 percent GPU overhead that was available due the decision to make the Kinect an optional accessory. As of now, there are no PS4-related articles talking about. And if Bungie can manage to achieve that resolution upgrade, then they surely improve the PS4 vers...

No it wasn't. My PS4 was having intailly having trouble connecting to PSN to even download the file because so many people were trying to get their hands on the beta. It was a widespread problem at that time.

Bungie did an amazing job with both platforms. I differences are negligible. Bungie is also working along side Microsoft to make the final version their platform up to par with resolution with the PS4. I only wish Bungie worked with Sony to improve the the PS4 platform as well. A 60 frame per second experience would be more than welcoming.

Yeah... I haven't purchase a COD since MW3 and my taste in gaming are varied. I have 14 games on my PSN and none which. Add me on PSN if you feel like it. CertifiedNinja29

Oh I'm that I am filthy casual gamer who want to be a smart consumer who just the most out of my purchase. Did I offend you by wanting my PS4 to be my number source for entertainment in my living room? My gaming skills are so inferior to your obviously your superior mindset /s.

He made honest points on why the Xbox One is failure. The console initially was going to be an always online DRM console that was centered around the Kinect. All this backpedaling MS has done and the dramatic changes they have done with the Xbox One to keep their consumers has shown their hypocrisy. This is primarily the reason why I switched to the PS4 last minute.

But also to be fair, Sony has done some really messed crap to their consumers as well. Like for instance, the ...

That would be quite amazing if Naughty Dog can achieve that feat while looks that good. It is quite apparent that ND took what learned while optimizing their engine for their PS4's version of Last of Us, and applying that to Uncharted 4.

OMG this would amazing if they added DLNA to PS4. I would LOVE having the options to play my own videos and music. That would officially make my PS4 my standard HTPC.

*cross thumbs*

This article isn't even about the PS4 and yet they are talking about how powerful it is compared to the Xbox One. They don't even care how the DEVs achieved 1080p and 60 frames for The Crew and just wanna find any excuse to compare their sizes.

Anyway back on topic, it is really interesting that the DEVs makes use of the 5 percent overhead that was gained from the Kinect being a secondary option.
