Considering the marginal difference of 200 dollars from the xbox 360, inferior ports from third-party developers due to the complex architecture of the Cell processor, and non-existent online marketplace and infant multiplayer, saying that the PS3 was worth 600 dollars during launch is overstatement.

The 3.5gb RAM gate is in many gamers mind and now this lie. Keep this up and AMD might steal their lead.
If they mean 30 frames locked on the PC then that is just ridiculous and majority of PC that were bad consoles ports. If they mean the targeted performance for high-end video cards then Fallout 4 better set some graphical standards if that was the case.
You're implying that everyone has money to spend on having two TVs and space for this to happen. Why spend +300 on another TV and inconvenience of switching between the two when you can have an up to date console that can play the modern games along with older titles.
Furthermore, if you already spent 400 and another 300 on a TV then why not use that money to build a PC so you play ANY game ever made for Windows.
It be fair Microsoft tried to con their consumers out of trading their games and that always online DRM bullcrap, and Sony took full advantage of that situation. Now Microsoft firing back and taking advantage of Sony's lack luster attempt to con their consumers to paying for games they already bought.
It clearly said in the article that Sony doesn't have enough software engineers to focus on backward compatibility and they much rather focus on fulfilling the original promises they made such play as you Download and Suspend/Resume.
Please read the article before wearing your tin foil hat and making more conspiracy theories.
Sony needs to get the pricing right if their VR headset is only 50 dollars away from a full PS4 bundle. There no way anybody will spend that kind on peripheral that only works on one console.
Why is N4G is already drawing such outlandish outcomes of DX12 when the API hasn't even been released nor have the developers have gotten their hands on it yet. It is interesting to hear an experienced developer's take on Direct X 12 but everybody uses different techniques and philosophies developing games.
The only way to really know if Direct X 12 is the next leap in game development or a steaming pile of lies is to wait and see how developers implement this API in...
The PC without a doubt is much sharper than the PS4. That doesn't mean the PS4 isn't bad looking for a 400 dollar console, but I defiantly would get the PC version if you have the RIG to run it.
I few blades of grass... and 1080p+ resolution... and 60 frames... and high resolution textures... and DRM free software so I can launch the game without sign in online or popping in a disc. Yeah more than just a few blades of grass fanboy.
Who cares if the game was being rendered on the PC? We got to finally see some actually gameplay footage and a hilarious skit from Conan O' Brian.
Why are these gamers so butthurt about something so small?

If they remastered the game using unreal engine 4 then that would be glorious.
Nintendo needs to understand that this 2015 and times has changed. The internet has made the biggest boom and social media is more prevalent than before. People are learning more about new games through people playing games through YouTube less through TV advertisement.
I understand that Nintendo is use to having tight control over the games in their platform to keep the quality high. This was necessary during the video game crash 1983, but that is in the past and they need ...
Imply that you would be willing be fap to a video game.
N4G sure knows how to beat a joke to death...
If the Media wants to see Sony fail then why are other Sony exclusives getting good reviews like The Last of Us Remastered and Infamous Second Son? The reason those games received good reviews is because they had fun gameplay to backup the gorgeous graphics.
The reason why the Order got those reviews is because its simply its glorified 60 dollar tech demo to showcase the PS4's capabilities. The Order is beautiful game and even rivals PC graphics but it lacks gameplay an...
He is still in charge of making Metal Gear Solid as per his contract. Chances are that this will be his last Metal Gear Solid game and any future Konami game.
