PS Vita 3G model is gonna sink with this revelation. I'll die before turning to AT&T's overpriced plans.
I've been talkin smack to Sony fanboys for a year now, and recently the PSV, and I surprisingly still have 5 bubbles. I dunno what the hell I'm doing right.
Throwing numbers around like 50 percent is so unscientific and untrustworthy towards the author. The only real way to test these claims is doing some kind of benchmark test, but since those tools aren't available on consoles, we will never know.
I'm concern about the 3G plan for the PSV. I suspect AT&T have a data plan similar to the ipad, and the higest available data is 2gb worth $25 which isn't a lot. On top of that, 3g don't have enough bandwidth to play online, so you're left with machine that can only download 2gb worth of data and a $25 bill.
Geez, don't blow Sony too hard or the jizz is gonna hit ya in the eye.

A man makes a good point. Sure you can have the latest and greatest hardware, but what really makes people keep coming back is the software. That's why Nintendo's DS dominated the handheld market, because of the lineup of fun games on the platform over its competitors. Hopefully, Sony will learn with their newest handheld next time around.
Really Sony? They could of at least make the PS Vita compatible with traditional memory card formats, but instead chooses the MS route and make a proprietary format. I can understand cutting back hdmi output and flash memory to save on costs, but they have no reason for the proprietary format. Nonetheless, Sony fanboys will stand by any decision Sony makes good or bad.
Sony must of cut this feature to maintain the 250 price tag.
If the controller itself has its own dedicated hardware and not streaming gameplay from the console then yes, its gonna cost alot of money. That means Nintendo will need to pay for hardware components for both the controller and console.
Battlefield 3 is the winner in my eyes. It has the epic set piece of M1 abrams followed by a trailer showing the destruction goodness kill MW3's presentation. MW3 was more or less the same large scale goose chase we all seen in every cod games. I will say though that MW3's story seemed more interesting than BF3 since it is doing the whole domestic invasion thing.
I think the biggest factors Nintendo is facing with Wii U is the price, performance, and power consumption. Nintendo needs a machine strong enough to play games in full 1080p but needs a GPU that provides those requirements.
The problem is that most video cards that can play at those resolutions consumes a lot of power. The minimum requirement for those kinds of cards is at least 500w PSU. That's 5 times the amount of watage the 360 and PS3 consumes. A second problem is h...
Nobody can make accurate assumption unless we know anything about the GPU and so far Nintendo has those details under wraps. If we wanna see any next-gen graphics on the Wii U then a DX11 GPU is a must. A gtx 460 would destroy any consoles on the market and it ain't the most expensive card.
Next gen started when Nvidia released its Gtx 500 series and when AMD brought out its hd6000 lineup. Just look at Epic's latest dx11 tech demo.

Nintendo is going to appeal to the hardcore audience with reputable third-party titles like call of duty and metro. First-party titles like Metroid, Mario, Super Smash Bro, and Zelda will attract the casual audience as well as hardcore Nintendo fans. As for the controller issue, the practical solution would be to have the original controller backwards compatible (they're gonna have to anyway) to play tradional games and original Wii games.

Nintendo heavily invested on the first Wii and found immense success in the gaming market. Now Sony and Microsoft are trying steal that market with their motion controller.
I personally some announcement to be surprising such as the exclusive release of minecraft on xbox 360. Minecraft is such a success on PC and having only on 360 means a lot. Hopefully, MS won't run this opportunity to the ground.
