The game will he using dedicated servers for all platforms. And the reason why the game will only support 24 playes is to minimize the action on screen. Less players = less explosions and destruction = lesser frame drops.
I can understand streaming videos and movies, but streaming video game gameplay? The entire value of video games is actually playing the game.
I'm not so mad at the fact that you gotta pay to play online; servers costs money to maintain after all. I'm more-or-less mad paying for the other services that should be free like Netflix and Facebook. These services are not hosted my Microsoft so it won't be losing money making them free, and having to pay for xbox live just to be given the opportunity to pay another monthly service is just highway robbery.

In my opinion (underline and highlight the word opinion), I think Forza 4 looks much better than GT5. The lighting system in Forza looks absolutely realistic with the sunbeams hitting the windshield and lighting up the dashboard. The dashboard and steering wheel and dashboard has that natural black and you can see all the details of the creases and bumps of the steering wheel, and once again the lighting system casts dynamic shadows on everything as the driver drives around the course.
Because that would be boring and won't start conflict with each other.
It's easier to showcase their games on consoles than PC because of the nature of these E3 conferences. They have to stand up and talk to the audience, and using a mouse and keyboard while sitting down conflicts that nature. I think what Howard was trying to say was that since the xbox is much easier to develop and its also a popular brand among the american consumer makes it the most logical platform to showcase the game.
Not to sound like a xbox fanboy, but it's so ironic that the Xbox slim runs more cooler and less nosier than the current PS3 model thanks to the Valhalla chipset.

No, halo 2 was taken offline because Microsoft didn't want to keep paying for the servers of a 10 year old game. Halo 2, along with all the EA games mentioned, run their games from p2p servers so saying "p2p wins" would be a contradiction.
