I just got caught up with all these sequels coming out with the number 3 (Battlefield 3, MW3, Uncharted 3)
First Witcher 2 user review. Nice =)
I was talking about Socom 4 getting 500k sales
How can you be sure that Gamespot and G4TV were the only ones who played the game thoroughly? There are still other gaming sites giving it average scores.
And explain the user reviews from sites like Amazon, Metacrtic, Game Stop, Best Buy, and many other vendors with average to bad reviews. These are the general opinions of everyday people and the majority says that socom 4 is just a typical shooter. Fans of the series says they strayed too much from the original formula.
Socom 4 was a flop along with Fable 3, Killzone 3, Haze, Crackdown 3, Alan Wake, and others exclusives too large to make a list. The game is barley topping the 500k mark and has average reviews across the web. If you don't see that then something is wrong in the head.
Also the bad reviews which deterred people from buying the game.
I think he is running the game off of some kind of sandbox editor. That's why you see the window titled "frostbite" and not battlefield 3. Which means he is either a developer or stole it from developer. =/
I just want the next-gen consoles to finally come so console fanboys will be like "oh, yeah, my console can play at full 1080p and it has the best graphics ever!" only for PC hardware to once topple consoles, thus rebirthing the PC vs consoles feud once again.
Expect an expensive electric bill with all the watts these consoles will be draining.
I can understand AA being important to PC gamers since they will be close and notice all those details, but AA is less important to someone who is playing 10 feet away from their HDTVs. Anyways, I personally don't think MLAA is better than MSAA because MLAA does nothing more than blur the details of the game. I forced MLAA for bad company 2 and while the performance did noticeably improve, the details of certain would be too blurry. The engraving of my tommy gun was completely unreadable....
LOL thanks for the laugh Shaman. Part of the reason why I visit this site is to see this kinda ownage. =D
Sony is serious about getting third-party support for their handheld.
Just like battlefield 2 =)
The game is being streamed on a server...
Little Big Planet is a small fry compared to the popularity of Minecraft.
It costs 80 for a PS2 console, dvd drive and all. You don't need an entire motherboard, just the chip responsible for render ps2 graphics. And since Sony doesn't need to pay any licensing and own the technology, then it should an assload of money to put a cheap chip.
Firstly, I never complained about the PS3 price. Secondly, it doesn't take much to put two extra USB ports and a ten dollar chip to play PS2 games. The whole reason why the PS3 cost so much was because of the bluray and cell, but now the technology is older and cheaper to manufacture, then there should be absolutely no reason to remove more necessary features.
I wouldn't be surprised if Sony remove yet another feature out of the PS3. After the removal of otherOS, two USB ports, memory card slots, emotion engine chip (which was responsible for ps2 backwards compatibility), the news of Sony taking out the AV ports makes me say meh.
One of the advantages to PC gaming and dedicated servers. The gamer buys a dedicated server and does whatever the hell he wants with it and nobody can't say anything because it's his, until he chooses to stop paying for it.
Gears 3 already reached 1 million preorders so it wouldn't as surprise if the game sells over Gears 2.
