Playing 60 frames and switching to 30 frames does change the pace of the game. The main reason why COD is popular is because it's fast-paced action thanks to the 60 frames, while battlefield has a different approach to gameplay which is more team and strategy oriented.
You're right, PC is next-gen.
May if you tie two PS3s together, you'll get native 1080p.
I have been playing halo since 2005, and I like halo for what it is now. Unfortunately, a good FPS by today's standard has to have a certain level of realism like limited jumping height, fall damage, iron sights, and some of ranking system. Halo deviates from this formula and that's why I like it.
Because putting a giant device along side your face with the analog sticks sticking out like tits makes you look like badass in front of the ladies.
If you take the time to write an article about why you don't care, then you kinda do...
@Statix
I ain't a "fanboy" of any platform and I'm willing to give any game a try if its to the best of my interest. Trust me, battlefield 3 on PS3 at least looks like reskinned version of bad company 2. Go ahead wait for the HD footage, but you're not gonna like it.
@OsamaOnCrack
Nah forget about trying to convince them. These Sony fanboys will call us PC fanboys (lol fanboys calling others fanboys) because we said something that hurt th...

I was watching on tv and not the stream BTW. Wait until the hd footage surfaces on YouTube and you'll see what I'm talking about.
I just got thru watching the show and OMG the difference between the PC footage shown at E3 versus what I've seen in the Jimmy Fallon show is night and day. Off the bat, I notice the difference in the level of detail of practically everything. Everything from characters to environment was low res. The cursor of holographic sight looked pasted on and didn't emit that natural light seen in E3. The deformation of the walls looked as if someone was shooting cardboard with a bb gun. This d...
I'm a PC gamer first so I will always game on a k&m, but I'm still excited to see the next generation of consoles because this will mean furthur advancement in game rendering. Developers will finally take advantage of Directx 11.
Um, I can easily play games by from 10 years ago (ps3 backwards capability lololololol wat?). In fact, I can boot up my pc and play psychonaunts right now.
PC parts get cheaper over time. The gtx 460 retailed for 300 dollars and now you can get it for under 150, and that card alone decimates any consoles.
Plug n play? What's so hard about installing drivers and plugging in the device afterwards? We PC games can use any controller we want and choose from a...
Duke Nukem is equivalent to Justin Bieber. It's so easy to hate on Duke Nukem and makes you look cool.
Crysis' extreme quality mod makes me wanna turn my monitor off and on to make sure I'm still playing a game.

Not too fond of the invisible racing wheel but I'm very excited about the head tracking which looks very useful in-game. More developers should find more useful of implementing kinect into their games.
I don't care for Crysis 2 but they are planning to do the same thing with battlefield 3, then I'm gonna have a problem.
Sony has invested so much on their latest generation cell that I wouldn't be surprised if they op for a lower-end GPU like they did with the PS3. All Microsoft has to do is buy in a Higher-end custom GPU thats more future proof.
So I know the Wii U will have more RAM and has a similar architecture to the xbox 360.
Microsoft has a track record of trying to the best at everything and failing. (I.E. Zune, Internet Explorer, Bing, Vista, Windows Me, etc.) Trying to get into the gaming handheld market will only give them more stress.
I'm surprised Sony fans on N4G is taking it better than the fanboys on Twitter. Kudos to you guys.
