Regenerating health was first introduced by Halo last time I checked. The recoil in Bad Company 2 is about the same as Battlefield 2 and the XP system is being used in every FPS today. And despite all these changes, the Battlefield games still manages to preserve the team-based combat.
I'm pretty sure IGN will start kissing ass if the 3DS ever starts selling. Its their nature.
Don't count the 3DS out just yet. PS3 was in the same boat in 2006 and manages to still be in the competition to this date.

Sad but unfortunately it's the truth. The majority are casuals and they just wanna rack up kills and score points.
256mb of ram isn't enough console developers to this date. The amount of ram is one of the bottlenecks they have to cope with and the PSP Vita should of at least have 512mb of ram which is the standard for smartphones.

I've tried MLAA already it isn't as nowhere as good as MSAA. I had MLAA forced under my CCC settings and it does nothing but blur the details of my games. I'd take x4 MSAA and take the performance hit rather than be forced to decipher what was already legible in the beginning.

Being familiar with all the characters would be a plus playing the second game.
I really prefer 60 frames when playing competitively online. The 60 frames gives that silky and responsiveness I need to win. However in a console environment, all players will have the same number of frames so there is a level of fairness across.
Buy both games because they are great games made by great developers.
Hmm, DICE makes a map that an underground subway system for close-range firefights and above is city where player can also fight. Weeks later, MW3 suddenly has a map with the EXACT SAME concept.
Common sense tells me they are copying, but apparently I'm lacking it because there was MW3 trailer that showed absolutely no multiplayer and it came first. And by some twisted logic, they have the right to steal another person's ideas because their trailer came first.
