I think the title of the article is very misleading as to what Cerny actually said. To paraphrase it, he said that the PS4's has custom components that isn't typically seen a traditional PC and developers has an ample time to understand the PS4 because the hardware remains the same over time.
What I would like from a technical level from Cerny is what exactly inside the PS4 makes it a "super-charged PC"? Is it the APU because AMD had an APU lineup on the PC...
You are probably the type that won't support a game if the devs don't kiss up to the PS4, so your support is meaningless to begin with.
At least you are honest and hiding it... I respect that
@joecanada
I use Excel all the time at my job and Word to type my school papers. I highly doubt you even work at an office if you bought up the question "who uses MS Office" when EVERYBODY at my job has a copy of Office on their PCs and schools require Microsoft Office classes as a mandate.
I dunno... I can't see your piont of view when there are awesome mods like Day Z, the Hidden, Trouble in Terrorist Town, and Hide n Seek Gmod that keeps me coming back for more. Lets not forget the older mods like zombies, gun game, and hardcore that are now standard game modes for consoles. Yep... really can't see your POV.
That's great that the PS4 controller is getting bigger. My hands would get cramped over time due to the size and that was one of my complaints. I'm also glad they've added some kind of rubbing gripping which adds more to comfort and it looks they made the triggers resemble more like gun triggers.
Have you seen how much effort they have put into controller? The amount of stress test they performed to make sure the controller can handle all type of drops. Rumble on the triggers for a more tactile feeling and Wi-Fi direct as the means of connecting the controller to your console.
I use an xbox 360 controller for my games on PC and it feels comfortable in my hands and I have no problems with its asymmetrical sticks. I may not like Microsoft's policies, but at least I ...
I think the PS fanboys have selective hearing because Kojima stated in the interview: "The difference is small, and I don’t really need to worry about it. When you come right down to it, the PS4 is cheap" and he is right to an extent.
Both consoles are using the same exact AMD jaguar chipset. Both console has the same 8 core CPU with similar clock speeds so the difference in performance is minute.
The most influential factor will the integrated GPU ...
The physical copy witcher 2 was DRM free on the PC and entitled the buyer to the digital copy hosted by gog.com, a DRM free gaming software website hosted by the publisher of the witcher franchise since 2008. Get your facts straight before you criticize a company with your fanboy propaganda. Maybe that's why witcher 2 hasn't been ported to PS3 yet because of spoiled pricks like you.
Sony's decision is only going to reinforce my decision to solely use my PC 99 percent for my gaming demands while I use my PS4 for just exclusives. Honestly, why should I pay for Xbox Live or PSN plus when there are FREE and infinitely better alternatives? I refused to pay for Xbox Live before and now I will refuse to pay for PSN.
Serial Processor ≠ Parallel Processor
Console gamers...
That's we have admins and punkbusters.
Well I guess its going to be same combination like last generation. My PC for all my online and offline gaming needs and PS exclusives for PS4. Online gaming was always infinitely on PC to begin with so this change isn't impactful to me
Survivor Horror is my favorite video game genre and it looks like it's making come back. Played Metro Last Light and now I can't to play Last of Us and Amnesia: a Machine for Pigs.
Nah... Stick my 1080p 144hz ASUS monitor. I rather have the ability to see all my frames rather than a higher resolution.
That is great to hear Microsoft focusing more on games this E3. Lets hope they stick to their promise and show what their gaming library has to offer.
I think both Sony and Microsoft didn't show enough in the expo. Microsoft focused more about their online ecosystem and newer improved console features but only one first party exclusive and CoD: Ghosts. Sony's was the complete opposite where they showed tons of first party games, but not nearly enough about the console. I would like to improvements they did with the GUI and the console itself and practical changes it would make to my gaming experience. I would like to see the console...
Intel may the king of single core performance, but AMD has cost locked down to a science. Awaiting benchmarks and see how stacks against Haswell
They spill their false propaganda and probably get their information from fanboy sites.
I getting sick reading the same copy and paste argument of the PC an expensive platform when people has repeatedly proven that a decent PC can be made for under 800 dollars.
I also don't think the fanboys don't realize by saying that they choose to game on console because its easier that they themselves are ones admitting that they too stupid not us.

Here ya go. These laptop contains the same APU found on the same PS4. They can run all the latest games right now and run on just as much power as the PS4.
They may not have...
