Anyways... based on the picture, the next next will have usb 3.0 ports, hdmi, and a display port. This would interesting because maybe it could support multiple monitor displays seeing as the only thing that have display ports are monitors.

Furthermore, it looks like Microsoft next-gen system will have an ARM-based CPU (the same CPU found in smartphones) and the entire system will be using a maximum of 120w. The ARM CPU are underpowered compared to the tradional desktop CPU a...

why am I seeing people pulling random numbers out of their rears and saying "consoles are gonna be x1000 more powerful"? Can't anyone use actual knowledge and post something informative like video card specifications?

what Onlive needs is more servers. This eliminate any problems with lag.

Technology will always advance forward and create newer rendering technologies which is not only used in PC but will be used in the console platform as well. FXAA, DX11 tessellation, Physx, and MLAA 2.0 are one of the few technologies made PC and coming to future consoles. To criticize the PC for this natural progression like criticizing a person for breathing... it can't be help.

So Naughty dog never made pre-rendered videos games huh? Remember the first Uncharted commercial?

PC beasts their way up to better graphics? I don't know if you heard but it doesn't take much to outperform a console. This video is Crysis 2 running on a 9800gt and core 2 quad CPU and it runs at higher frames and looks better than consoles. And last time I checked, console developers make their games on the PC before down-scaling to consoles. ...

So it's okay for Sony to charge you for online passes... because PSN is free. Yeah, I'm gonna let you soak into your logic there.

That's great that you are totally opposed to blocking used games, Jack Tretton! Now stop using online passes because it's a pain in the ass having to pay another $10 to play online with my used copy.

According to beyond3d, which is a very creditable source, alot of the games for the vita such as Uncharted and Unit 13 are running below the native resolution of the PS Vita and lack any AA. One of the exclusive titles Wipeout has been cut to 30 frames on the PS vita and I know the game runs at 30 frames because I own the game and a Vita.

This primarily due to the PS Vita's GPU being downclocked to save battery life which is probably the biggest bottleneck for the Vita. ...

Maybe if Sony decide to lower the prices of every SKU or that killer app comes out soon, then chances of reaching 10 million is unlikely.

If anyone took the actual time to read the real article, then what Miyamoto was talking about was the lack of games the PS Vita currently has and how Nintendo learned their lesson with the 3DS's lack-luster library during launch.

The story that is linked is nothing more than attempt to spark a flame war. In fact the last quote the artic...

The rumor of the next generation consoles uses the latest "bulldozer" architecture will probably not happen and will be a blow for the consumers. The CPU they are using as reference has a x86-64 architecture and current generation consoles uses Power Architecture. These two CPU uses two completely instruction sets. If Microsoft and Sony decide to switch to the A8 3850 CPU, then any PS3 game will not function on the PS4 and same goes for the 360.

The Witcher 2 is one of the best RPGs I've played and I'm glad to see it coming for the xbox 360 so more people can experience it. Deep story filled with comprehensive gameplay to match.
It is so disappointing that a game like Mass Effect which defines itself as an "Action RPG" will pretty much every RPG element stripped out and yet still sell more than Witcher 2.

Really... then maybe Sony can drop the online passes because it is becoming annoying for gamers.

My guess would be that Robert is expecting the foreseeable
future of when Call of Duty will be another Guitar Hero and Activision will eventually drop it when start losing sales.

There are several things I do agree with the author. One being the sad fact that most mutiplatform games have been nothing more than console ports. Very rarely do you see a game that has the PC platform as the lead development. The only only games I can thing think of in recent times is Battlefield 3, Crysis 2, and the Witcher 2. But despite most mutiplatforms having consoles as the lead platform, even PCs with a mid-end card can outperform them.

"Imagine if that were a piece of crap, what would the next thing look like?" -VP of Epic Games

Put his words out of context and assumes that the next unreal engine will make the Samaritan demo look like crap.

Unreal Engine 4 is shown in the next E3 and everyone is disappointed and calls Epic Games a liar.
