This has to be the one and only thing Xbox is doing that I actually like. Being pessimistic I have to imagine they'll find someway to ruin it. One of those "great in theory, terrible in practice" type deals.

1. Glad someone remembers the OS thing. Though I honestly didn't know anyone who used it or even knew of it so it was funny how 'big a deal' that seemed to be online. Still, Sony's track record isn't a shining beacon of divinity. Regardless you have to admit their current approach has been phenomenally better...

Least I'm not the only one who finds that surprising. That battery pack looks like a really good product for any Xbox One owner. They shouldn't NEED one because the controller should had been already with one, but at least theres an option on the market. Seriously using batteries in your controller is so last-gen.

I was seriously not expecting it to be so sleek. I was expecting something bulky that would later be slimmed down two years down the line. Imagine my surprised when they brought out a console that looked like it already went through the slimming process. I'm happily surprised by it.
I just have to wonder if they'll still find a way to make it even...
I dunno, I imagine a PC could pull off such graphics if they focused it to work with only the like 1 percent who actually have the requirements to play it.
The tech is there, Im sure. Its more the market we're waiting on.

I didn't know that. I've never gotten that impression from it personally, though I've never seen advertisements for the game before so maybe thats where they pushed it off as being a cross-over focused title.

If you have a gaming PC then you don't even need Xbox since its 'exclusives' are typically on the PC aswell. On the other hand if you don't have PS4 you're missing out on a lot of true exclusives.
Sure I'm liking what I see so far but its the beginning of the era. The first few games show off what it can do but I'm worried it'll be forgotten after a year on the market. For years the maximum for my area has been 3mb. Only in the past few months did they release a 12mb service.
It's probably going to take longer than five years to reach the point where 100mb is 'the norm'. Though it will probably be less than a decade, at least. Hopefully GoogleFiber sees a lot of success.
