Jacob Taylor? Really? I was under the impression that most people didn't really care about him at all. Especially if your only bases for him is him as a squadmate in ME2. He actually has his own game, which would be a better example for you to draw from since he actually holds some importance in that.

I can think of two FAR better examples of memorable black characters from the Mass Effect series. Commander Shepard (he/she chould be black) or Captain Anderson. Seriously, ...

Lol... Mass Effect 3 wasn't heartbreaking because Shepard 'died'. Especially since in two endings he DOESN'T die. (Unless you consider becoming an avatar for a god to be 'dead' then he only survives on ending).

The reason so many fans were heartbroken had nothing to do with the supposed demise of Commander Shepard. It had to do with the demise of the series lore and integrity by what many, many consider to be the most disappointing ending in video game...

The Geth Plasma Shotgun was pretty badass but it's nothing compared to the sheer destructive warpath the Claymore can dish out. It's a OHK Beast.

Just to point out something, Mass Effect 3's multiplayer is not competitive, it's cooperative. There is a difference between the two.

Are you referring to the drama the fans made about it or the actual ending itself? Because I didn't find the ending to be dramatic at all. More confusing then anything else.

Just what we need... more volus. Would had rather gotten some new quarians. But hey, least its something new. Looking forward to it.

I disagree with a few of these as being considered 'strange'.

1. Haze. Never played the game myself but I can understand someone loving a game enough to not want to see it get canned. Shutting down the server is a big move that, while it may not hurt the majority, will always disappoint a select few who still enjoy it. Opting for a peer-to-peer system that doesn't require the developers to maintain a server for people to play would be the better route to take, im...

Not sure why you'd make fun of it. Its pretty self-explanatory. While the use of a minus sign in a sentence like that isn't actually a 'real' part of writing, that I know of, its commonplace enough on the internet that anyone who spends more than five minutes of their life on here should know what it means by now. Like asking what "lol" means.

IMO, the fact that these are producers that are hinting it is very much relev...

You're misreading it. He isn't saying they're teasing "something new" he said they're teasing something. "- new ME3 DLC" represents what he thinks it is they're teasing. The "-" is significant, jut pretend it's a period. To translate it to something easier for you to understand:

Mass Effect Producers are teasing something. Could it be new ME3 DLC?

Awesome. Looking forward to some more details.

Multiplayer ruined Mass Effect 3? Are you kidding me? Multiplayer was the only thing that gave Mass Effect 3 any real replayability after that horrible ending. The story ruined ME3, not multiplayer. While the servers could use some work I had more fun playing the multiplayer part of the game then I did the actual singleplayer.

Speaking of the R2 and L2 buttons I hope the new controller ditches the curved inward style. I'm hoping they adopt something similar to what the accessory "PS3 Real Triggers" are.

I remember back in the PS2 days L2 and R2 were always default aim and shoot buttons. Now due to the weird design that is prone to slipping fingers, most games have that switched.

True it isn't... which is why I never said it was and pointed out that it doesn't have any symbolism that really relates to the game.

It is funny though that when people see a torso that has the head, arms, and legs all severed and nothing but bloody stumps the first thing they notice is breasts.

If I did have such a statue I'd sooner relate it to being from Elfen Lied the anime than Dead Island.

"So Deep Silver thought what you, the average game, enjoyed about Dead Island was chopping women to bits. "

Actually, yeah. I really did. Though I'd replace 'women' with 'zombies'. Not enough games have limb-specific damage. You could break or dismember all their limbs. Its awesome. I try to make a game out of seeing how many body parts I can cut off of a brute before he dies. Fun times, even with the glitches. It's a zombie survival game - i...

If a species cannot procreate, it cannot endure. Think what you will, but a homosexual relationship doesn't result in offspring. Only a small few creatures can swing both ways and have offspring. Humans are not one of them, far as I know.

I don't believe homosexuals will be the humans downfall or anything, that'd just be silly. But fact remains that it isn't natural if they cannot procreate.

Homosexually is not natural. I don't care one way or another what someone does in their personal life, its none of my business, but despite that it certainly is NOT natural. If it was natural then the relationship could produce a child. This is a fact.

Helghast have been getting progressively more 'evil' looking in design since the first game. I remember the first game where they were all basically O O eye lens. They keep becoming more and more like snarling glares. Looks badass, though.

Just wanted to add in my two-cents and vouch for Just Cause 2. It's a really fun game that you will probably never actually beat 100%. It is huge. Like, really huge. I wasn't expecting much from it since I didnt care for the first one, but it really blew me away with just how fun it was.

Its a massive free-roaming game with tons of stuff to do. You can fly planes, parachute, all kinds of stuff. I enjoyed it more than GTA4, personally, far as the fun factor goes. I...

When you base your comment solely off of the title of an article without actually reading said article to get the context of it, you only make yourself look uneducated. Like those people who are fooled into paying a lot of hidden fees due to them not reading the fineprint of their contract.

He's saying that the 720 could be $199 under the agreement that you sign up for a contract deal. I imagine something akin to you agreeing to sign up for a year or so worth of Xbox Live...

Perhaps I misunderstand you, but you're saying console graphics get worst with age? Because in my experience the exact opposite is true.

PC's can look worst with age (only if you dont keep it up-to-date with the latest graphics cards and the like, the older your PC hardware is the lower settings you need to have your games play smoothly, traditionally) but consoles typically only look better when they age.

You wouldn't think that to the be the c...
