Really, really, you don't think auto aim makes it more like an arcade game? Points and bonuses for kill streaks. Neither game are simulations that is for sure, but to say that team fortress is more arcade than COD is idiocy. A 3 year old could pick up a controller and git some people in COD no problem. Anyone can play it, which is what an arcade game is supposed to do. Neither are sims, but good god please don't ever mention Sim and COD again in the same paragraph because it'...
@cgoodno- Sorry man but I think you are the one who does not understand how lawyers and the courts work. Arguments in court have nothing to do with being right or wrong, but what you can prove. Showing case presidence and how that relates to your argument is how these things play out in cases such as this. Contradicting everything by default as you say would make for a very poor attorney, one whom I would never want to represent me. In your second paragraph you explain things much better....
@noticeably_FAT- great response and I see what you are saying, but I played MW1 skipped the rest and rented MW3 and you know what, it was very very similar. Sure some new modes 5 games later should be expected, but is it enough? The better question is is it worth $60. The obvious answer is no. The great improvements you mentioned are things that other games add to their one game post launch and sell as DLC, not whole "new games." You have low standards when it comes to companie...
I don't hate it, I'm just mystified. Take for example a sequel to any other game this gen. There is always a paragraph about what has changed or hasn't. If it has not changed then it gets points taken away from the final score. This logic does not apply to COD and it seems to be the only game out there that can get away with reusing 4 year old code and adding maps. COD can come out every year, but it should cost no more than $15 and include only MP. The SP is such a joke now...
When cutter was hit with that dart it had a hallucinogen in it similar to what Drake had, I just thought Cutter was hallucinating like Drake did with the flaming skull guys. I must say the ending was anti-climatic and I was a little disappointed, still awesome game though.
They are about 18 years late on this one, this country is filled to the brim with complete morons.
Why the $5.00 mark, when I buy used I save upwards of 20 to 30 dollars and that is a huge amount. Games today are overpriced. MW3 is a perfect example, it should only cost 30 if it comes out every year, especially when assets are recycled from 4 years ago which in the tech industry is a century. I don't make enough money to buy new games period. I have to buy used or wait for a price drop or rent, but if I rent I only get to experience half the game unless I want to fork over more mon...
Games are not cars, so there is no logic to your argument. Also, when you buy a used car typically it comes with what you need to make it run, at least if you buy smart it should. Online that you have to pay extra for is like buying a car and going to drive it only to find it has no motor, but it can for a cheap price. If developers hate gamestop so much they shouldn't allow them to sell their games, not punish the people who can't afford new to begin with.
I disagree, they made a great game with an awesome story that you cared about. Think about it. Instead of having a static character that goes through the game with the same motions they made Drake actually interact with where he was going and what he was doing. They didn't make a movie, they made an awesome game with great cinematic qualities, Now remind me again what your complaint was?
I noticed that too. I think they did it so you can't peek around the corner and fire without getting hit yourself anymore. It was a way to cheat the AI in the other games, also helped give an edge in MP.
I'm curious, why is the gameplay boring. I would like you to explain more instead of making a blanket statement.
and if they do expect to pay $500 for the smallest old tech hard drive M$ can throw out there.
Never happen, GWOL sucks ass and this article thinks they can make a quality portal for the PC. M$ wants you to buy their products and use them exclusively on the 360, why else would GOW2 and 3 not come to windows? Remember Alan Wake, it was supposed to be on windows but M$ cancelled it and the game had bad sales. Imagine if it was released on Windows as well, it may very well have done much better, but M$ is greedy and thinks consumers are stupid. That view unfortunately comes from peopl...
Simple, release it on the PC and stop thinking it will take away from the sales of the 360 version. Do i want to play GOW3, hell yeah. Will I fall into M$'s ploy to try and get me to purchase a console for one exclusive game out of the whole year, hell no. Try releasing quality hardware and maybe I'll think about you next gen, but you lost me on this one.
Gimped in length because of 360, thanks Microsoft!
The million or so people who have signed up and used the home service would disagree with you. But, hey way to make a blanket statement about something you can't possibly prove.
Title should be consoles not ps3 The autor if you want to call them that is fishing for hits. Also, no shit.
I see what you are saying, but I have to disagree. The controls were fine. The only major recent evolution in game design is the 3d camera (in regards to actual controls). If anything it requires more work to do something in a 3d world as opposed to a 2d world like Mario. Games were simply more challenging back then, to say the controls were bad I think is saying that you are not good at those types of games and you need an excuse to not be good at them. That's like saying soccer suc...
"Out of all these three version, the HD remake is definitely the best one in terms of visual, as developer has completely revamp the graphics department of Resident Evil 4. The character models in RE4 HD are lot more detailed, and the textures of surroundings and environments looks more sharper."
"more sharper" really? really? your write for a living and that made it into your already terribly misinformed "article"
WTF is this ...
"They contradict everything the opposing council says by default, whether they are right or wrong."
If you never meant for it to mean that, then you should have articulated your statement, because regardless of your explanation now, your statement was a blanket one which made it sound like all attorneys make up lies in the court just to contradict one another.
You just gave a much better explanation of what you were trying to say, next time just thi...
