Sega 32X Hype is real!
I'm guessing they couldn't make it run on physical hardware without headaches. They would have to emulate and upscale the screen and allow users to move where the screens are and touchscreen is a different technology. They may do 3DS virtual console and grant you access to your digital games in the future but sadly no native Backwards compatibility. I really hope they get the virtual console right, that's legit my buying decisions. If I can keep my Virtual Console purchases (even ...
Wrong. Nintendo Switch is clearly a Gaming Tablet that can be plugged into you TV. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a Mini HDMI port on it (which would be nice if you wanted to take it to a friends house and they don't have a dock).
LOL 2DS? 3D doesn't add anything to game-play, it's a nice little feature but that's not why they won't do Backwards compatibility. Most likely cause they are changing the touch screen.
"Switch will not replace 3ds" yeah for now, but Nintendo won't be wasting much resources on 3DS. I'm guessing they won't out right abandon it like they will for the Wii U however.
The difference is VR for Nintendo Switch wouldn't cost as much as Playstation VR since IT IS the screen already. The Galaxy devices VR thingy is only like a 100 bucks so not crazy to think Nintendo could make it affordable.
You aren't much of a gamer if that's true unless you have been playing it 24/7 and dead.
NX will be more powerful than Galaxy Phones and they have VR. Also NX screen is only 720P, so if they are aiming for 1080P support for Televisions, I think managing 720P VR is possible (granted battery life may take a hit in VR mode at least you could get an hour or 2 of VR fun with it). Edit: Nintendo Switch could easily be as powerful as an Xbox One and remember it only has to display in 720P while Xbone/PS4 aim at 1080P. Nintendo Switch is using Nvidia Tegra chipset which the newest one is...
B/C is only thing I use the xbox one for, so not pointless for me. Controller is amazing tbh, I use it for my PC. But yeah what exclusives? PS4 is better than Xbox One at least it has games I care about and the PS4 controller is almost as good as XB1 controller.
Who cares, Skyrim is better on PC
UWP is a joke, Give us regular EXE files.
Just get a Computer
LOL I'm pro-PS4. Love that I'm on the list.
"3ds has no games" lie
N64 didn't fail, it sold decently enough. But this is more about combining their home console and portable lines. They can release a smaller version of the switch later to go after the 3DS audience.
Edit in response to nitus10. Nintendo couldn't create enough games for both the Wii U and 3DS so it makes sense to unify them. 1. 2. 3. I Prefer PC gaming buy will play on consoles and handhelds, just depends on mood. 4. 20's. 5. Yes. 6. No. 7. Everyone else in my household d...
Anyone thinking the Dock would have a GPU on it, doesn't understand technology or the console market. You can't attach a X86 GPU onto an Arm based Cpu/Gpu.
Nintendo Switch looks awesome, just my opinion.
Depends what type of games you play, for 2d Platformers D-Pad is mandatory. Hopefully they will release a joycontroller that has a d-pad on it. I mean it's a downgrade from the 3DS for portable gaming. The PS4 D-Pad looks a billion times better than the Switch C-Buttons, not comparable. Now even Xbox Gamers can claim they don't have the worse D-Pad anymore, this is a major fail for Nintendo just wait.
Doesn't even have a d-pad, this will fail worse than the Wii U.
Why not call it the Xbox 4/Four or Xbox 4K? Since it's going to be a somewhat more significant jump over ps4 to ps4-pro. Nintendo is releasing a 9th gen console. Microsoft said they are done with generations but they might as well treat the Scorpio as a 9th gen console. It is the 4th Xbox and would put them at the same number as Sony finally. And since it's focused on 4K Gameplay, Xbox 4 or Xbox 4K makes perfect sense tbh and wouldn't confuse consumers.
