No, Mario Kart wouldn't work within an Open World context. It would kill the franchise (Like Burnout Paradise killed it's franchise). It worked for Forza cause it's really generic. It would make more sense just to add Mario Kart elements into a 3D Mario Game (they toyed with the idea in 3D World).

If you are playing games to meet friends, you are making a mistake. First meet friends in real life and maybe they will game with you. tbh it's been like 6 years since I actually played games online or offline with friends, for the most part I play with random people, has nothing to do with gender.

Wrong, I can redownload all my Xbox 360 games that was removed. They could remove the ability to do it but they don't and it sounds like a conspiracy theory at this point because of PT a free demo of a game that Konami wanted to erase of out existence for specific (but stupid) reasons.
Sony knows gamers and they understand Loyalty is the most important aspect when transitioning consoles, this is why the PS4 is doing amazing. They deserve this success and Nintendo deserves this failure. Nintendo is just going to keep on gambling they can have another Wii or DS but those consumers are gone, move to Smartphones and Tablets.
Those Wii U Owners should vote with their wallet and NOT buy a Nintendo Switch. But most still will cause they are fanboys LOL. Nintendo has very little to lose and kickstarter projects have even less to lose since I really doubt any Wii U owner is going to sue them.
Nintendo abandoning the Wii U, means I'm not buying the Switch until after it sells like 30 million units, it's obvious Nintendo doesn't care about it's loyal consumers so why be the one to be taken advantage of? I don't think anyone counts being able to play on 10 year old hardware, considering the graphics is a major part of the experience. Sales reflect this.

VR needs Porn to be successful. I know it exists but nobody is saying "How amazing it is". I figure VR is going to be a mostly mobile platform anyway. VR on Console/PC will depend on AAA exclusive Real Games, not demos. Also Someone needs to release a Console with VR included for it to be mainstream. Nintendo has perfect chance to do it with the Switch but they won't.
