I'm not really talking about this case in specific. Just overall it seems like Microsoft makes promises and breaks them very quickly. Fable Legends was advertised a lot to have it canceled so close to launch feels like they were lying to people that it was anywhere near a "Complete experience".
No Man's Sky doesn't have as much content as Minecraft even, it's most randomly generated planets. 60 bucks is too much but it will be on Humble Bundle in a year or 2 for a buck so I'll just wait.
Most AAA games are better than most Indie games. There are some Shitty AAA games and a few good Indie games but that's the exception.
Disks are fine but if you have to INSTALL the game to the harddrive before playing, than yeah they are pointless. Disks just provide a way to have DRM-Free gaming, but in reality Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo could just follow GOG and you know DO DRM-FREE Gaming. Problem solved.
This doesn't have the potential. IT IS REPETITIVE, that's the point. Gamers who like Destiny/Monster Hunter/Division love repetitive games.
You should value playing good games. I know you havn't played every NES game and there are plenty of hidden gems you are ignoring for microtransaction ridden games today.
Microsoft really just needs to go Pro-Consumer, it would be easier to support them and in the end they would make more money. Right now they flip-flop everyday and it's getting annoying. Sony isn't perfect but at least they stand with consumers.
Nope, Xbox One gamer here. "Early Access" only works on PC and has a lot of risks involved. Honestly everyone should have WAY too many games to play to be messing around with Pre-Alpha Buggy games.

Problem isn't that it's obfuscicated, if you are concern about that you than Why are you using any form of DRM? Get GOG and avoid steam at all cost which actually has worse DRM than Windows Store for online gaming. Right now all the have is Gameboy and NES for 3DS and most of the library of games they can/will put out for those consoles are out. Don't know why Mother (Earthbound Beginnings) isn't out for 3DS maybe they waiting for Snes/GBA support for Handheld console.
Sony biggest problem is never sticking to any plan. They did crossbuy so why not just have PSVita support on the PS4? Not many wanted a crappy PSVita without screen without even proper 1080 Support
There are phones more powerful. This is pretty worthless for gaming. Hell Minecraft will have problems running on this.
You can just Change the harddrive on PS4 or Add an external on The Xbox One. Also you still have to install the games if you have the disk. Not really a good excuse for not going digital.
Just Play Halo or COD. Maybe they want to try something different for a change. I don't even remember the last WWI FPS.

Rather just get those games on PC where in a few years I can use same copy of the game and play it in Ultra Settings on a New PC unlike Consoles which even though Backwards Compatibility on Xbox One is nice, the games don't play much better.
And a reason not to get it. Gamepad is cool for Optional 2nd screen stuff and Offscreen play. Shouldn't have ever been mandatory. Most people prefer the Pro Controller anyway.
