Nintendo Fans will still buy it, their body is ready for Nintendo to loosen their USB Ports. Guessing this will be IOS/Android only as well. So I have to upgrade my phone and upgrade my Handheld and pay a monthy fee just to do voice chat on Nintendo? (And Chances are they will limit it to Friendslist only and you have to type a 16 digit code both ways).

yeah and Wii Sold more than any other Nintendo console, so not really a bad idea. Problem is, people don't care about Zelda as much as they did in 2006 (Skyward Sword sold less than Uncharted games).
"Nintendo finally has what I consider a next gen console". Xbox One and PS4 was released over 3 years ago, hell The PS4 Pro just came out LOL. Switch has too many problems to actually sell beyond the Nintendo 20 million crowd (If they actually support it for 6 years).
"Consumers don't trust Microsoft", Consumers don't trust Nintendo even more, just based on the sells of Xbone to Wii U. Sony obviously will continue to dominate, but I doubt Nintendo Switch will sell over 20 million units (If they support it for 6 years and don't abandon it like the Wii U).

My decision to buy or not buy the switch will be based on how they handle virtual console, if they make you buy the games fully price once again F them I will never buy another Nintendo Console ever again, I will just use emulators on PC. If they make you pay a small fee I might pick it up after a price drop. If It's no charge for Virtual console games you already own on Wii U/3DS I will buy at launch.
Just buy a new PS3.
I don't like physical copies, but it's not a "Good thing" they will disappear. As long as there is still an audience for physical games they should keep selling it plus it's nice for people who care about preserving Video Game History.

Guess what you don't just show up and release a few Japanese games and expect Playstation fans to flip. You have to actually do the hard work and continue the support. Microsoft has a tendency to give up so easy, I'm tired of defending them. They deserve everything they get. It's short term profits, not long term and it's what will kill Xbox.
Why not just make it a Scorpio exclusive if it couldn't be done on X1. Seems stupid to cancel it, honestly I figure it would be able to run at 720P 30FPS on X1 anyway so why not just release it. I figure it will be like "Windows RT" if you remember what the Surface 1 and 2 was (Not Surface Pro 1 and 2). They still don't want to risk putting real windows on a console but I figure they will keep pushing it closer to it with all but .exe support (the only thing I care about so not for me).

You didn't read my comment, Forza is a bit niche and is for very hardcore gamers so most Forza fans understand it. Mario Kart appeals to a lot of casual gamers that an Open World game could easily damage the brand. I think it's possible to do it right but let's be honest Nintendo can't pull it off. It would be smarter to make a sequel to Diddy Kart Racing or Crazy Thought an Open World F-Zero game and reboot the whole series.
The Switch is the replacement for the 3DS. They might release a smaller version of the switch but not at E3.
