probably will be... the same game will probably run on both systems. Cross gen is going to take on new meaning this time around, since full BC is possible easily. many ps5 games will likely also have a ps4 mode.
After PT, I wouldn't want to see another SH game without Kojima involved. What he put together was just too good. The fact that they pulled that rug out from under him still has me pissed.

@ellise, nope, some of us have values we stick to, we don't forget getting screwed after a few months and start welcoming in those who did it with open arms again. Not everything in life should be treated like a fad that fades over time. Holding people accountable for their actions requires sticking to it.

I had far more fun with my PS2, but I couldn't disagree with this comment more. There is so much underappreciated magic available in Dreamcast's library.

They've added things that were never promised before, in addition to fulfilling many of those promises, so I'd say that's worthy of praise. I didn't have to pay for any of it. The performance issues are the only reason I don't like the game currently. Best on PC, I'm sure.
It's much better, but in some ways worse. The performance on PS4 Pro is nearly unplayable. The framerate is laggy and drops constantly, and there's a nasty >100ms (I'd say as high as 300-500ms at times) input delay on everything you do, which makes a task as simple as walking around a chore. It feels like you're playing it over the cloud on a high latency connection.
VR is better, though, but the controls need work there. Flying a ship with the move contr...
They announced PS4 Feb of 2013.
Wipeout is in great shape, finally released in VR, the way it was meant to be played.
Haven't tried VR yet, but in 2D, the input lag and low frame rate on PSPro make it near unplayable.
While we're at it, let's ban opinion pieces that feature "why" in the article name. We don't need to know why the PS4 is in not the system to buy or why the switch is or why you think this is that or why you think that is this... this isn't Opinions 4 Gamers. I come to gain knowledge, not to be told how to think by some kid in his mom's house who decided to learn enough HTML to become a "gaming journalist".
I would imagine said developer dug a bit deeper than just a Kotaku article before making a decision that had potential dire financial consequences for their games.
