I knew you wouldn't be able to... so all you could do is that pathetic attempt at attacking me instead.
The controller is interesting... they basically copied the DualSense, but I still see no mention of haptic triggers (only haptic feedback, DS has both) or a gyro sensor, only an accelerometer. I do really like the concept of external rechargeable batteries, though.
Please show us where Jim Ryan conspired to buy out the entire industry in order to put their competition out of business... I'll wait.
That wouldn't happen, if MS bowed out, the PC players would start stepping up to the plate, much like they are in the handheld space now that Nintendo is the only one.
Yes, because it's still a better controller, plus the 3D audio, faster load times, and in many cases, better graphics.
Sorry to burst your bubble... but...

"Nowhere did Sony ever say that they would be holding their cards closer to their chest." - Um... not advertising that is kinda... part of holding your cards close to your chest, lol...
Do you really think Sony has all these studios known for making fantastic single player content just sitting on their asses doing nothing? Druckman has stated they're hard at work, Team Asobi is working on a new game, and you can bet the other teams are cranking away at somethi...
Or drop a PT/Silent Hills bomb and break the internet.
Probably why they hiked the price, so there could be better quality games and less shovelware.
Taking the victory lap in the wrong direction before you even reached the finish line... MS was able to give away 6 million copies of it to GP subscribers, among a few sales. There's a reason why we don't get the actual copies sold number, a reason I'm sure would greatly disappoint you, so just go back to playing your game.
PS5 can't even hit 4K 60 on all games, and VR requires that to be rendered twice, once per eye... even with foveated rendering, it still consumes far more resources than PS5 has to offer to do VR at 4K resolution at framerates above 60fps, so you either have to seriously dumb down the graphics to hit native resolution at 90/120fps, or you have to use frame reprojection. PS5 Pro wouldn't even completely eliminate the need for it, but you could probably get away with reprojecting 90fps ...
@isarai, that makes more sense... I knew 3/4 of a billion was a bit high for development of one game, that would be setting records. Blame the gaming media for inaccurate reporting of the numbers.
FF16's budget was insanely high... 711 million. That's over 10 million copies, assuming every penny goes back to Square (it doesn't, they get like 70% of that), just to break even. Sony probably funded half of that, so in reality Square probably isn't far from break even, but that is still an astronomically high development cost that is far too difficult to recoup at $70/copy. At this point, even if they do break even, they're relying on bargain bin sales to keep any actua...
Or it could just be hype to get people talking. I'd love to be proven wrong, but it wouldn't be the first time such marketing tactics were used. So far what we've seen of the game isn't what I'd call earth shattering, even though it is among the best superhero gameplay I've ever seen.
To be able to have PSVR2 feature full native resolution on all titles, 120hz, and options to enable ray tracing, yes, it is needed.
Game doesn’t have character models look as detailed and rich as say Horizon (on PS4) but to call the game ugly is wild. - Fixed
Yeah, those stock textures look terrible. This video makes it look like this is a remaster of a Xbox One game.
"Or is the real problem that the games are not exclusive to Sony or that Sony zealots can take credit for a game's success because it was on a Sony console?"
The elephant in the room you choose to ignore, Sony has a long history, dating back generations, of creating stellar first party original IP. Microsoft does not. Sony has proven themselves capable of creating their own classics, so they don't have to buy entire publishers to keep games from being on t...
A great RPG gets better with time... but it doesn't start off as crap. It starts off good, and ends up fantastic. This starts off crap, and ends up good.
Phil Spencer also said so... "We may exit the gaming business if Game Pass subscribers off consoles don't increase a lot by fiscal year 2027"
