Straight up gaslighting their fanbase. Sad.
How many Xbox exclusive games won again? How many were nominated? LOL
Every digital marketplace does the same... even Apple does it... so I don't see this going anywhere.
Microsoft isn't in trouble, but Xbox as a brand, and especially as a console, is.
Probably because sales are so low that they have to fake it to make people think that the game is still being played.
As for subscriptions taking over everything else... look at how the movie and TV show subscription market is imploding right now... It isn't working out very well for them. Disney has more subs than netflix, for instance, but is still losing money.
They aren't making money by investing in R&D for hardware that doesn't recoup its costs... they lose money on hardware, their only profits are from services, so it only makes sense for them to just support their services and leave the hardware up to the ones who can actually sell it.
Not yet, Phil said 2027 is the cutoff date for them exiting the industry unless some miracle happens and gamepass subscriptions dramatically increase.
Xbox Tax is copium that Xbots use to justify their purchase of a console that is sub-par.
Acquiring a developer and acquiring entire publishers cannot even be directly compared... That's like trying to say that buying New Line Cinema is equal to buying Warner Bros.
Storage can be fixed with add ons, a lack of a competent GPU cannot.

I love how you guys have to try to compare Sony games sold on Steam to Starfield, as if it's even a level comparison... Those Sony games were released years after they saw release on PS5. Most people had already played and beaten them by the time they hit PC. How about we compare worldwide sales on all systems of those games? No? Doesn't produce the same results? Didn't think so.
But the sales are down dramatically, which is why Activision isn't talking about them, at all...
Instead of saying "we have the most players ever playing this than any other game in the new trilogy", they're saying "more hours PER PLAYER", cherry picking using stats that only they have direct access to, so they can easily lie about them. That is an act of desperation. They can't lie about sales, as third parties can track those and call out t...
Destiny had been run into the dirt long before Sony. Nice try, though.
Sony: No.
Nintendo: No, lol.
And not just recently, the issue goes back for years. At this point, there's really no excuse for it.
I have never in my life seen a professional website have more server issues than this one. If I had a dollar for every time I've seen "Runtime error" pop up when trying to load this site over the past several years, I'd be able to buy the site.
Well, despite the disagrees from those in denial, Phil himself did say, and I'll quote:
"Xbox Is Prepared To Exit Gaming Business By 2027 If Gamepass Growth Doesn't Increase Enough"
Their entire future hinges on subscriptions... not console sales, not game sales, subscriptions. They went all in, and so far it seems to be a bust. So, the only way to save this would be for them to become a third party service and try to get their games on ...
Remakes eventually, maybe, but I can see why you feel that way. It's kinda like Big Lewbowski... some games/films just can't be properly turned into a franchise, and there's nothing wrong with that.
