Wait until Half Life 3 comes out on PC, that's going to be a large leap i will bet anything on that. Not to mention the huge difference in physics and stuff and interaction with the world. Source 2 will be a beast.. i just know it.
Except Doom 3 and Half Life 2 ran terribly on Xbox and looked significantly worse.
I was surprised as well lately to watch someone play Doom 3 BFG on 360 on youtube, some parts the framerate was really bad.. on a game made in 2004!!
I'm sticking with PC, some games are good on consoles.. but FPS games suck on them and should stay on PC.
Plus after 2-3 years framerates really go downhill on console games.. Doom 3 BFG pretty much proves it...
hahaha bronies suck
Why don't they just have unrestricted 3G/4G usage but you top up cash whenever you want to use it, they could charge like 1p per minute like the old Dial up days. That would be a lot better than what they charge now and the data caps.
I have no problem with some console games, i just hate FPS games on them. But 10 years is too long for a console cycle.. 5-6 is enough.
After 3+ years some games will start having framerate problems because the console won't be powerful enough to keep up. This happens with a lot of console games.
Just recently i was watching a playthrough of Doom 3 BFG on 360 and some areas lagged extremely bad, it looked like the FPS was hitting 20.. and that's a gam...
I've seen console games go that high, rarely have i seen PC games go over £30 though. So i'm good as long as cost is kept low for PC.
Why console games are nearly always at least £10 more than the PC version though i'm not sure. if the game is good and it has fun online modes like Co-op i don't mind paying for it.
Well the last update made the browser worse, it crashes a lot more often.
I fail to see how you can be a pro console gamer, whatever though.
are you serious? your laptop must be completely rubbish.. even my old 8800 GT could max that no slowdowns.
Also Crysis has always been a poorly coded game, that's why it runs so bad even on top end systems and it's mediocre at best. You can get a nice PC for just under £1k or just over that will handle proper games for years. and get better framerates than consoles.
"MOST" pc's.. as in probably mid range ones, not very specific there to be honest.
Also, who cares what BS articles are posted, us PC gamers get great exclusives like Nazi Zombies, Killing Floor and numerous others. Console gamers already bitching that these games aren't on their console, rofl.
What did you expect the specs to be for such a cheap console?..
if you want power spend £800 or so on PC parts.
Valve are one of few devs left who give free DLC and not churn out sequel after sequel like COD, Halo etc.. their games are pure quality.
Tomb Raider was pretty much already like Uncharted..
Wonder boy in monster world did some ocarina stuff really well, like to open doors etc..
speaking of which.. i think it could give Zelda a run for it's money if they brought that series back.
Out of them all i think GTA 3 was the worst personally, Liberty City is pretty dull.
Vice City is where it got much better and enjoyable, San Andreas was just great. Liberty City stories isn't bad but Vice City stories is much more fun.
Then they went back to Liberty (boring) City for IV. So glad V is going to be like San Andreas with a lot of countryside and less of the dull city. Now i just hope they don't screw up the huge multiplayer potential whe...
Hopefully it does, it has a lot of potential.. as long as we can have a huge amount of players online like SA-MP and customizable game modes it will be great.
Well, i don't want to go without a fight.. you'll probably find me in some Cryonics lab.
PC can pull off anything a console can do the only difference is PC will always have better performance, where do you think games are made before being put on consoles?
Keep GTA V off of GFWL and only Steam when it comes to PC.
Have modes customizable like in San Andreas MP and it will be great, as long as there isnt a small player cap so we can have at least 50+ players and full open world with no restrictions
I have some hopes for this game and the 3DS version, my only worry is what is there to do besides missions? are there side missions, activities.. mini games? can you run people over or do they just dodge out of the way?
the problem with having a large world is having stuff to do in it, if it's bland then it's going to get boring very quickly.
