Nice tech and much better A.I would exist nowis the government stopped wasting so much damn cash on wars, and god knows what else they do on black projects and the crap that goes on in Area 51.
Tech and medicine should be far more advanced, idiotic fools who run countries.
Nope, look at info on Oculus Rift, it will actually have depth and distance added to games. Gonna be the best experience for something new, just make sure you have a good PC for it, i will probably get one when it comes out.
Well this hasgot nothing on Oculus Rift.
I've been a PC gamer a long time, but who the hell wants a dual or triple Eyefinity setup at those resolutions that makes games run like crap? i've seen benchmarks of them in many games running dual or triple graphics cards and they struggle to hold 30-40fps max.
1080p and a nice 120hz monitor is going to be best for a long time, once you go above to 2560+ resolution the framerate starts getting shit even with dual cards because they can't hold a constant 60fps. G...
As long as it doesn't mean we get more crap running games like Crysis on good hardware then i'm all for it.
60+fps as often as possible @ 1080p please. Bring on Source engine 2!
this is why crytek fail, release new games all the time that run crap even on high end hardware..
With hot pikachu busty action, dunka dunka dunka dunka!.
The 60fps term gets thrown around a lot.. but what a lot of people don't realise is that you need a lot of power to be able to keep 60fps+ under intense scenes, so the game will need above recommended specs to run well even @ 1080p.
This is from experience. Loads of games i've played have run much better way above the recommended spec, which is stupid because they don't state you need a way higher than listed spec to keep 60fps. They won't tell you it's go...
it's best but hugely overpriced, if it weren't for micro stuttering i would buy 2 7970's because they stomp all over it and are quite a bit cheaper.
Stop gap card = Titan, price will drop like a rock soon once the next proper series starts.
Plus what's funny is the fact that even Crysis 3 can't run full 60+fps @ 1080p on the Titan and look at the cost of it, what a joke.. not that i like Crysis because it's a mediocre game with flashy ...
Nothing will run it 3k 60fps constant, have you seen people running just 2 monitors with 2 graphics cards? some of the games have pitiful framerates as low as 20-30.
if you want 60fps almost constantly you need 1080p, or 120fps for those who own a 120hz monitor. You will not achieve a playable framerate with 2-3 monitors any time in the near future, 1080p is the sweet spot and will be for a very long time, at least until graphics cards have a huge jump in performance. That li...
Dead Island's got nothing on Left 4 Dead, or Killing Floor in the fun department.
The game has bad collission detection, you slide off stuff you jump on, the game's camera swaying is sickly, too much bloom. I could go on, this is the only game i can't play for more than about 20 minutes before i start feeling sickly.
Badly made crap that i wish i could sell, but i can't because it's stuck on my steam list.. from now on i only stick with de...
Well saints row is decent but i hate dead island with a passion, i have tried to play it a few times on my PC and with the horrible bloom and swaying boat like camera movement it made me feel sickly every time, not to mention the awful collission detection and sliding off objects.
I think left 4 dead is a much better series, so is killing floor if you want your fun zombie/specimen co-op fix.
When i play games on my 15.6" 1080p laptop screen, then on my 120hz 27" 1080p screen the only difference i notice is text is not as clear on the bigger screen, when looking at games the difference is negligable unless you stare at a corner of an object, even then it only seems to be a small difference of "pixelation" because i've ran both side by side and compared, and that's a screen almost 2x the size.
Basically if you're constantly typing an...
What a stupid article, how can this even exist when we have PS3 PORTS! that are practically up there with it graphically?, i'm almost certain the Vita is closer to the PS3 than the PSP was to the PS2. you only need to look at Uncharted, or the new DOA game to see how close it is to PS3.
Also don't argue about the 3DS next, the graphical style of well made games like Luigi's Mansion 2 prove it can pull off more than good enough graphics for a handheld.
60fps constant and just 60fps are completely different, if you just get 60fps that could be max or average framerate. So the game will still drop to low framerates of 30 or so anyway.
I doubt consoles will be able to do 60fps constant because it's impossible even on some newer games on pc with high end cards @ 1080p.
Vita is a great machine, near PS3 quality graphics with some nice games & apps like YouTube & more coming. Not sure why some people hate it, if it's because of the price thats kind of a lame excuse because it's not a huge deal more over 3DS.
Do you mean way higher resolution than 1080p?, if so i don't care because speed is more important.
I have a 15.6" screen n my laptop which is 1080p and for my desktop a 27" 120hz 1080p screen, comparing both together i can barely tell a difference in games except on the laptop screen text is a bit sharper. it's not as huge a difference that people make out.
Give me high quality textures, 1080p and 60fps as often as possible any day.
I don't understand why they don't make closed units as good as buying custom parts and putting together a loop yourself, sure if would cost a bit more but why not have that option?. if they just made a bigger rad with 2 large fans it would be near silent and cool better than air cooling heatsinks.
As AIO units stand they still don't beat high end air with temps or noise.
They should have like 240mm fans, imagine 1 or 2 of those on a big rad.. sile...
Still have a first gen i7 920 and see little reason to upgrade, game benchmarks prove old i7's are still going strong compared to the newer chips. Will wait to see benchmarks but i'm not expecting much, maybe i'll wait and see what Broadwell is like.
@colonel179 ROFL u serious bro? PC runs ALL multiplatform games better than consoles, it's called frame rate and it's closer to or over 60 all the time with a good PC @ 1080p with a high end card that can keep high settings. Console games usually dip to low framerates plus have medium-low graphical settings in comparison. So having a good powerful PC doesn't mean a thing for graphics, it's all about the speed difference as well as having better graphics at the same resolution....
