I noticed the clipping when I watched it a couple of days ago. If I choose to buy a game solely on the basis that it didn't have any clipping, I wouldn't own a single game.

Sensational porting job. Kudos to MercurySteam for sticking to their guns and producing a sensational looking game on both platforms. Even if the 360 version is across two discs, at least they didn't sacrifice visual or gameplay elements to make it happen.
In terms of initial impact it would have to go to God of War, it's an action game that would define action games to come. In comparing God of War 3 to Bayonetta though, Bayonetta comes out on top pretty comfortably. I don't honestly see why this is such a big issue. Pretty much saw this decision coming from a mile away, and I don't really have a problem with it. The fact that they are even releasing an open beta is a promising start. I'm not going to subscribe to Playstation Plus to play it, nor do I feel disappointed that I won't be able to.
It's a BETA people. It's not a demo. 95% of the people that play it or WANT to play it won't even provide feedback.

I just got my 360 a couple of weeks ago for the Halo Reach launch, and a few days ago I bought Gears of War 2, partially because I was interested in comparing it to Uncharted 2. Quite simply, Uncharted 2 blows it out of the water, there is no question about it.
That said, I really don't care too much, I own both consoles. I own both games. Graphics are superfluous if the game plays tightly and both of them do. The graphics are a bonus.
Even if the game is a failure (which I seriously doubt) I have to commend Treyarch for working so hard to fit the needs of the community. Black Ops obviously has a wealth of content that wouldn't even be expected in a standard release.

Listen to these 'single' console fools making comments. It's like you guys got married way too young and forgot to play the field. Obviously the title isn't completely true, but it wasn't trying to be. The Dreamcast is ONE OF the greatest consoles that was cut down by the juggernaut that is the PS2. I think it's a bit of a misconception. Yes, most of the menus and written dialogue are in Japanese, as are about two of the side missions, but everything else is in English, including all the dialogue. With a little fiddling it doesn't take long to figure out what does what. That said, if this article proves true, I will be buying it immediately to see the few things I missed out on.
