I have played an immeasurable amount of hours for Call of Duty online, but I'm not too caught up in ranking or badges. I'll never be able to understand boosting for that reason. How does it make a player happy or pleased with themselves? and who is going to give a shit in the first place? No one is. What do you achieve through boosting? A name on a leaderboard that no one reads?
I'm well aware that Call of Duty is looked upon harshly here, but it was once an ama...
@PS3thebest, I'm getting the PS3 version mainly for my brother, me, friends, online etc. I own Crysis on PC and I love playing on my rig as well.
Why all the animosity for saying that I'd get both?
I'll be getting the Ps3 and PC version of the game. I'm expecting huge things for the PC release.
Just because Killzone 3 a better game than its predecessor, it doesn't mean it has to have a better score. The Little Big Planet 2 reviews have the same issue. The game is obviously better in almost every aspect, but it doesn't have the same 'wow' factor that it had the first time we laid eyes on it.
You can compare and contrast all you like, but it's superfluous. What's with this pre-concieved notion that an improved sequel needs to have a better s...
Judging by that comment, you didn't play any of those games.
"Linear" COD maps? That's a keeper. Hell, referring to any multiplayer map as "linear" is pretty hilarious.
It has happened to me a few times in the game before but wow, I'm really impressed with the new community interface, it's wonderfully streamlined. I'm sure these issues will be knocked out of the way soon.
That is barely even an article, what a disgrace. This poorly written piece of garbage serves no purpose other than to spout a random opinion, and boy is it random.
Read the last sentence:
[In reference to Sony dealing with hackers]"They probably do know a way on how to deal with the issue, but it is probably due to the fact that the issue will cost a lot of money to fix but it would be worth it if they did."
Is this a journal...
Is that for real? You buy the PS3 version and get both? That's totally insane. This is a seriously powerful pairing for both Sony and Valve. Steam is sensational for those who don't have it for PC. Can't wait to play both.
Deadly Premonition is definitely one that stuck with me all throughout 2010. A worthy winner and a truly unique game.
If this is true I don't think it will be too much of a bad thing. It will give me more time to mess around with Little Big Planet 2.
That'll give me 2-3 weeks of time to play Dead Space 2 (which I'm sure, I won't need) before Killzone 3 and Bulletstorm compete for my love.
Good times.
Can't wait to give this a go.
Misleading headline obviously. I'm pleased that they would at least acknowledge that the game is broken. At this stage, it's ridiculous to assume that they could fix it, but if they are prepared to lay down the same measures that Treyarch have to prevent hackers, then I'll be please.
Dino Crisis on cocaine? It's possible people.
Best gaming slap-to-the-face I've ever seen.
Now these are some very logical changes. The game has been running extremely well on both my ps3 and 360. I realise they can't eliminate Second Chance completely, but if they at least let me get the kill points for bringing a player down, i'll be content.
EDIT: Just a reply to oddexarcadia. The framerate problem isn't only limited to PS3 I've found, it's also a problem on the 360. Granted, at this stage it isn't as bad as the PS3 framerate, but it...
This reminded me of that episode of Futurama where Fry discovers Blernsball for the first time. It looks completely bizaare, and I can't wait to try it.
It's clean.
I think this new IP will really test their metal as a developer, considering the Halo franchise became a little stale in the gameplay department. Hopefully we'll see something bigger and better.
I tried to tell most of the members here to READ THE QUOTES CAREFULLY. Everyone was in an uproar, when in fact the quote was complete rubbish and taken out of context.
From the bottom of my heart, thanks for all the disagree votes kids.
This is a giddy idea. The impossible mode on Dead Space was tame in comparison, in fact, it was pretty weak to be called "impossible". This sounds super challenging. Just imagine getting to your first save station, so much elation. I might pull an all-nighter with a friend to get it done.
