Trust Valve to discover motion tracking tech that demolishes anything put out by Microsoft or Sony.

How about not using motion anything? I'm having a damn good time with my duelshock and my xbox controller. Throw any other bullshit, cash-in peripheral in the trash.

There is no game convincing enough to use either device on.

Criminally underrated and in my opinion more satisfying than God of War 3. Aside from a few questionable design decisions, it still had great gameplay, an interesting story, and truly epic scope, something which a number of games lay claim to, but rarely deliver on.

Agree entirely with this. If Activision stopped placing restrictions on these developers, they might have the time to build an incredible engine. The CoD4 iteration was excellent at the time, and every subsequent game since has dropped off.

I often refer to it as garbage of the finest vintage. Nothing wrong with that.

it's practically the first gameplay trailer, what were you expecting? a fully polished boat chase against commie-nazi's?

Everyone has already commented on the visuals, so I guess all I have to say is goddamn, my surround sound is going to get a workout.

I'll be buying this on ps3,

I'll be using my code for the PC version,

and I'll be playing co-op with my brother.

Thank you Valve.

Good on him for realising that David O. Russell is at the helm. Possibly the only director capable of getting a good performance out of Mark Wahlberg.

The Uncharted film will be great. Give it time.

I get the feeling that a lot of people want this game to drown.

Too bad it's actually great.

The problem with Dead Space 2 started with marketing. By calling it "much scarier than the first game", Visceral immediately put it on a pedestal of expectations. It simply wasn't up to it. It isn't a bad game by any stretch, but it lacks the freshness of the original Dead Space's setting. There is no specific genre the second game fits into. A tightly conrolled horror game without any scares, or a clunkly yet explosive corridor actioneer?

This video is ancient history. Elpresador has since discovered a "glitch" on discovery and dolphin dived into icey waters. He just posted a video today of a tree falling on his head.

Possibly the greatest, mentally unstable troll the youtubes have ever seen.

@Dirty Beaver

Send a letter to Crytek in that case. Inform them that their PC game, running on the Cry Engine 3 which just barely fit on to a console, isn't up to scratch.

The simple fact of the matter is, neither console can handle it properly. The 360 has concessions, as does the ps3. The game still looks exceptional. You've obviously got the inane thought process of 'if Killzone 3 can look that good in 720p, then anything multiplatform can&...

Are people actually not going to buy it on the basis that it's sub-HD on both consoles?

Vanquish people. If it runs good, if it plays good, then who cares?

5524d ago 3 agree2 disagreeView comment

GT5 isn't 1080p either fool. WipeoutHD is 1080p.

Well, I'm betting Fox News will be all over the black women for being Cole's "evil" side.

Nice trailer.

Jesus, read the comments section on that website. Absolutely atrociously retarded people.

5525d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

As predicted, the game looks fine and the cry babies haven't commented.

5525d ago 7 agree8 disagreeView comment

Who cares? Neither of those are bad scores. Crysis 2 will probably get 7s. Should it impede on your enjoyment of either game? No.

Both games are good. Play both, enjoy both.

The campaign is indeed fairly beefy. I'd say I got 9-12 hours out of the BETA. Although much of that was spent just looking at the sheer visual majesty.

Regardless of what anyone thinks of the campaign as a whole, it's worth it alone for the Grand Central Station mission.
