What lol, no just no.

I haven't been able to purchase any of the metal gear games outside of 5 for years now even though there was a hd version already made.

They are literally just selling us the same hd content that was made for ps3 basically, and took if off the market for no good reason at all, and now re packaging it with some extra stuff but no upgrades at all!!

Where can I buy silent Hill 1-4? Ohh that's right, I cant <...

Only on the xbox side really.

I buy games consistently for my ps5 and switch, on my series x though and even x one I haven't bought a game on xbox for years at this point.

Xbox is my gamepass machine, which I think is the case for most xbox users when u look at the sales difference of games on other platforms compared to xbox.

Ms can afford to take the hit so I'm happy to take as much from them as possible.

Yea don't get me wrong lots of great different indies but for me they are like a dessert and shouldn't be the main course.

I can't tell you how addicted I was to vampire survivors last year, hrs just flew by and I appreciate those experience but I bought all shiny next gen boxes for the purpose of AAA gaming, so that's what I expect for the most part.

As to your list journey was absolutely amazing also!!!

Yep same here, good to see people are are excited about what's coming!!

Downvotes are pretty baffling though lol apparently being excited for games In general is something you get downvoted for now on n4g 😅 god bless this place

I always assumed those numbers included marketing.

At the end of the day if we want these amazing AAA games then people need to go out and buy said games.

Indies are great an all and I've enjoyed my fair share but seriously they are all meteoidvanias these days anyway.

Give me my AAA games, which I have to say 2023 is absolutely delivering on and the back end of this year is even more stacked, I'm eating rediculously good.

cant see where i said its the pinnacle of game design, i said the boss battles got me hella excited.

its called fun, and the boss battles in this game were Hella fun!! I wasn't sitting there thinking about mechanics only just how fucking sick this was.

its good to enjoy different things, not your cup of tea thats fine no need to be bothered by other people having fun.

I'm all for it to be honest, getting to play games I love from my childhood with a fresh coat of point is amazing!

Especially as they are my favourite types of games which is single player story games, back when gaming was pure and wasn't filled with mtx rubbish or trash live service games.

Bring on the remakes, feed me mgs 3 remake and hopefully the ff9 and ffx rumours are true as well, I'll be so happy, add in silent Hill 2!!! Bring it on!!!...

2023 is honestly gonna end up as one of the greatest gaming years ever!!

First half of the year was absolutely stacked and the last 3-4 months of the year are even more crazyyyy.

As an owner of ps5, xsx and switch I'm looking at everything releasing and I have no bloody idea where I'm gonna find the time to play:

Bg3
Starfield
Spiderman
Forza
Pikmin
Mario RPG
Alan wake 2

Yep those older games ftw , none of the games I played as a kid were loaded with all this rubbish bloat that's fills our games now

957d ago 14 agree2 disagreeView comment

Starfield absolutely does need to deliver, but at the same time it doesn't, xbox would go on regardless and it would just be chalked up as another Ms failure and fans will look to the next big thing.

Starfield will be a success though, it's been in dev for a long time, it's Todd Howard's baby, they've been given extra time to polish it up, there's no good reason for it not to be awesome

For as prone as Ms is at fucking things up, I...

I think bloat is a big problem in games today which is why as much as I love open world games, when I see linear or semi open games I get excited and generally speaking 90% of the content in there is meaningful and not just mind numbing collectathons and terrible sides quests or bases.

Very few open world games get it right, gta series, red dead, the witcher 3, elden ring, botw are all top class examples of getting it right.

Ghost of tsushima, horizon, sk...

The only person being downbeat and bringing up the opposition was you to begin with lelo........ just saying

Anyway on topic, can't wait for starfield, praying it lives up to the hype!!!

Literally all time great bosses, can't remember being that excited while playing a video in well its been that long I can't even tell you, probably God of war 3 actually.

That bahamut battle was some next level shit.

I mean I'd defs love to know how much each game cost to make and how much money it made back.

But I disagree with the writer whole heartedly, while it would be nice for discussions sake they are under no obligation to tell us any of that info.

They don't owe that info to anyone outside of need to know basis so it's bit ridiculous to say that it should be public info.

I dont know, i think it ended perfectly.

It was a pretty open and shut story i dont think a sequal is needed.

id much prefer an all new FF

Unfortunantly lariat are the exception not the rule, however I hope other devs see that and follow suite.

Release the game for the big boy platforms the moment they are ready and then focus on the s version, rather than make all of us wait

958d ago 9 agree0 disagreeView comment

The problem is, it isn't just holding back xbox, it's holding back all current gen games 3rd party games due to parity and must release on s rule not to mention increasing already super long dev times.

So everyone is paying for it unfortunantly.
