Its begins, pc gaming just got exponentially more expensive than it already is and consoles are about to join the club.
Just waiting for game developers to tell us that somehow this has also raised the cost for them and they need to raise the prices of games aswell.

Ahhhh im an Aussie aswell and i game on all consoles as well as PC.
I can assure you there are no sta dard edition games that are priced at 150, the write is stretching on that one, game are 120 which is still a heck of a lot but not 150.
Pc gaming isnt getting much better atm, with the rise of ai, pc parts are becoming incredibly expensive, just look at the recent increase in ram which has 3x in price.

So it should, MS have been absolutely disgusting this year. I mean Sony and Nintendo are far from perfect, but neither of them have screwed over there fanbase as consistently, as fast and as hard as MS has done.

long time fan still hanging for dear life cause his library is on xbox. its sucks xbox has put their fans in this position, i genuinly feel bad for long time xbox fans who are basically stuck there now. thank god PS has always been my main platform and everything else has been for exclusives.
In saying that im more PC than anything now, Steam library is the way to go.

Rockstar have come out and come firmed trailer was a mixture of gameplay/kinematics and that it was all running on a base ps5.
The game will look as advertised they literally have a team of like a 100 people working on this and apparently a cost of a billion dollars to make.

well not really if you read the article, its stating that this is due to release with new xbox hardware which means they will be again catering to the previous gen right up until the next one launches to last replace it as previous gen. in saying that though cod games dont do anything special so probably fine to cater to older consoles as dont think theyd be doing much to warrant or take advanatge of the new consoles fully
The game is one of the worst optimised games I've ever come across.
The worst part is the game isn't even pretty or pushing anything fancy.

It's going to be slim pickings in terms of 1st party for a few years with sony now.
considering multiple cancelled live service projects which were cancelled and teams spent years on.
There is atleast 4-5 teams all starting from scratch again.
In terms of 1st party, Sony for the most part has really dropped the ball this gen.
As an accessibility option for those that need it im all for it. As the standard control for ps6 helllll noo, touch controller would be the absolute worst.
