Depends on the game, fantastic for indie games and lower budget AA games but theres no way you recuperate a big AAA single player game back.ms can do it for there titles cause they can take the hit with end goal being more subscribers but 3rd party big releases can't do that.
Look at final fantasy 16 sold 3 mill in less than a week.
Now flip the script and imagine it was a xbox exclusive on gamepass, square Enix may aswell have packed up the shop.
This honestly makes me so happy to hear, I just finished the game about 40 mins ago and it was an absolute blast, literally blew my dick off at points hahaha
It has its flaws, but it's a flawed masterpiece and one that every ps5 owner should give a chance.
Congrats to yoshi p and his team, and to square Enix for giving him the funds and the creative freedom to give us this brillant game.
i only just started gaming on pc, but after reading some other new outlets about this it is a practice AMD has been doing with all there sponsored titles so no its not the firs time
It's like Bethesda don't want us to enjoy this game fully one way or the other on xbox it's 30 fps and on pc they have partnered with the much inferior amd and there upscaling technology, bit of bummer there no ray tracing either on the pc side.
No dlss support at all or frame generation, what a terrible call.

Not that I have a problem with timed exclusives or any exclusive for that matter, the way I see it is the console owners looking after the consumers by giving them content that cant be played anywhere else.

Yeaa I don't know if i agree, I am effectively at the finish line now after 52 hrs and while I absolutely love this game, it is wildly inconsistent.
The highs and mind you there are a ton of them have you sitting there in childish glee, thinking this is the best fucking game ever.
But then the lows are low and are bang average.
The story, the themes, the characters, the world are all about as good as it gets and has had its hooks in...

i get having a favourite/s, i have mine no doubt about it, but to think id purposely miss out on xbox or nintendo games out of loyalty is just dumb.
Im a gamer and will go everywhere the games are.
