Really? who cares about the console versions? CS is, has and always will be best played on a pc.
They stink because it's Hollywood.. hollywood doesn't give two shits about the games or staying true to them.. they just see it as a good IP to make a movie of and rely purely on the name to sell the thing with little thought to the actual content.
Jay250 sums it up.. it's a hardcore game for casual gamers and a casual game for hardcore gamers. For many people first coming to the cod series, they'll get their asses handed to them on a plate and be utterly annihilated. However for more fps veterans who are good at other fps games will most likely find themselves destroying everyone on cod.

Lol I knew Microsoft wouldn't release a true mature game and market it as such but instead market it as a teenage game. Still sort of funny but find it nowhere near as funny as I would have 10 years ago.

Really? I'm disappointed that cs is even getting released on consoles. I hope it doesn't effect the quality of the PC game. CS has and always will be best on PC as it needs a keyboard and mouse to really maximize it's competitive potential.
That doesn't mean it's impossible to get guns in the UK but shootings are far less common over here. Imagine if the riots in the UK over the last 7 days were held in America where gangs have access to guns.. they'd have turned really ugly. But nope our gangs just have to throw bricks, pieces of wood and everything else they can get their hands on.
And the reason criminals get their hands on guns in the first place is thanks to your whacked out gun laws.
With the risk of sounding ignorant, security officer is hardly a do-gooder profession where people can be fully trusted carrying guns in public. Now I've never been to America but half the "security officers" I've met in my country (UK) are just power tripping assholes. Maybe he's a nice guy who knows but I know my country is far safer with it...

Somewhat more on topic, Microsoft responsible for questionable business practices..that's hardly new news these days.
It blows my mind that people in America can actually get permits allowing them to carry guns around in public. I understand gun licenses for protecting your home but to actually carry guns in public and around children? That's nuts.
If there is a sequel I think the opposite and should completely free of de_dust maps. So many servers just run dust2 constantly or at least did last time I played cs 1.6 or css.
Bah well after a bit of searching found that there will be dust maps. Guess it was always going to happen.
Microsoft played it smart for the casual market but they haven't released many kinect titles this year so far.. eight months into the year and I can think of like one game only (albeit not thinking that hard) that's been released for kinect which isn't a fitness based game. That's not exactly a great way to build on the initial momentum generated by sales and I think it'll cost them quite a few sales this winter.
Nope, not in the way Microsoft envisioned.. in the UK at least. When the Wii was released there was so much buzz and the buzz was everywhere. It was kind of similar leading up to Christmas but since the new year, the buzz has completely died down. You now can get it for less than half the full retail price second hand.
I do think Kinect has potential to carve out it's own place in gaming but it's not really all that special and nothing so far has really wowed me. Mic...

All console shooters have aim assist to some degree.
So much call of duty hatred.. yeah I'm too starting to get bored of it but lets be honest.. cod isn't a casual friendly title.. it's a hardcore game and the fact it sells so well is a testament to the amount of real gamers there are and that there is more money to be made from games like cod than there is from the kinect approach.
Actual MK characters? Freddy might seem "cool" but come on it's completely out of place. Not to mention they went with the latest freddy which was not only an insult to Robert Englund, but a terrible terrible terrible remake to boot.
If I was EA I'd stay the hell away from "VIP" passes. It caused a lot of aggro with bad company 2 and rightly so. I didn't feel "very important" when they unlocked content for me which I had already paid for on the disc.
