Mate they lost the plot the moment the moment they put on that ridiculous family event for the Kinect unveiling. In their eyes the plot is KIA
Good article. Very little in terms of actual things to get excited about from a core gamers perspective but can't disagree with any of the points mentioned. Sadly, what Microsoft says doesn't accurately reflect their true intent.. IE: As long as it's profitable, they don't give a fuck about making the xbox the number once place to be for core gamers. Actions speak louder than words in my books.

To be honest, if Sony had respect for gamers they'd treat the Resident Evil movie franchise like the cancer it is and stay the fook away. Can't think of a more desperately needed reboot of a film series.
Was that a trailer for a movie based on a horror series? You'd never have known.
Is there actually a picture of him without wearing sunglasses?
Wait what, this is out NEXT MONTH? I didn't even knew it was scheduled for a European release let alone out so soon. Gotta buy myself a Wii finally now, any game with Sakaguchi heading and Uematsu is doing the music is a must buy.
Yup I always said I'd get it when I found something worth buying it for and that was the UFC personal trainer game. The technology is actually really good and I can't say anything negative about it in that respect but how Microsoft and other developers are utilising the technology is pathetic strictly speaking from a gamers standpoint.
If those are the must have titles of 2012 I'm glad I sold my kinect. Zumba fitness is one of the most anticipated titles? Says it all tbh.
Lol these console gaming analysts need to stick to console based stuff. Completely clueless as always.
This article has the worst first paragraph I've ever read in a sports game article... Emphasising how long it takes to get good at something then comparing it to a computer game saying about how you don't need to go to that length in a game.. really? State the obvious more.
Cool, hope I can navigate the menus from my Japanese account.
Lol these sort of things again... where is anonymous when you need them to take down a website?
Activision are too smart/greedy to allow their competitors this sort of advantage.. my guess is that MW4 will be a launch game for next gen consoles.
Lol next gen and call of duty in the same sentence.. new generation, same engine most likely.
Lol "game changer" and the fps genre go together like nymphomaniacs and abstinence.
Regardless of the hype, I gotta say that making a PS3 only FPS based on a PC only MMO is one of the most retarded decisions I can think of in recent gaming history that might actually effect me.
It's an insanely hyped MMO.. it won't be a perfect 10 not even close for no other reason than the fact fan's will expect the second coming of WoW and the game can't possibly live up to those sort of expectations.
@nightfallen
Been there heard it all before tbh. They're really trying with GW2 and I think it's going to be a great game but it will never live up to the crazy expectations people have.
Your classmate's aunt is a whore.. true story!
Alan Wake kinect adventures? I sure hope not but wouldn't surprise me.
Wow, it's amazing how far Jagex has come. I remember playing runescape in it's first year of release which must have been around 10 years ago... it was my first venture into online gaming and MMOs and simply put, I was blown away. To this day, I've yet to play an MMO that combines such depth outside of combat with simplicity. It was so addictive too.. I remember fishing for hours trying to get into the top 10 fishing skill. So much good memories, Jagex deserves the success it seem...
I think it's because Western games focus more on style over substance at times and usually sacrifice story as a result. I'm not Japanese so can't fully comment however I love Japanese games and don't care for most western single players and the best way I can describe the difference is that Japanese games have this quirky imaginativeness to them that is sorely lacking in most western games and they usually build a good deep story behind this imagination.
