I am cautiously interested. The trailers so far have left me with giant "WTF"s.
So should we have Jedi sitting around, talking about trade negotiations instead?
Dear Sony,
Me love you long time?
So in the real world men do obey your every whim and conform to what you want?
If you want equality than there is no difference between a male avatar in his underwear and a female avatar in her underwear. Can't get pissed about one while being fine with the other. You're fine with artists making things how they want unless you disagree with it.
Now me when I disagree with something, I just don't support it. Not drive it to not exist.
Glad there's some sanity left out there.
No they don't. They need people to not use them if they don't like them. I abhor them for pay to win aspects so I don't purchase them. Developers only make them because people buy them. Parents shouldn't give their kids a game with them and give them access to their credit card.
I have a feeling that the next generation of consoles is going to have some ability at the console level for parents to block microtransactions. Granted it's easy for them ...
Yeah ok. Totally legit function of government. Regulating what is and is not in a video game. No slippery slope there either. Sure.
Yeah this will be effective as ESRB ratings. Parents will still buy their kids the games.
If I ever sell my console, I can sell all my games with it. If you ever sell your console, unless you're selling your PSN/XBL account too, you're stuck with games you can't play unless there is backwards compatibility.
Again, a digital only games model would shut entire countries out of the gaming market due to poor internet service and bandwidth caps.
Then you go work 80 hour weeks making a game and show us how it's done. It takes time develop games. Or any software for that matter. And the pay is high because the skillset is in short supply.
Look the progression system has issues.
But Arcade mode having a credit cap is not one of the problems. No other online game I've ever seen even has progression towards multiplayer for offline modes against bots.
EA has said MTs are coming back. Their existence was never the problem to me. That you needed to buy them to progress at a reasonable rate was. This update addresses that to some degree. Is the progression system still broken? Yeah. ...
The original Empire was meant to mirror the Nazi's view of the purity of the races. So they wouldn't even hire non-humanoids. Thrawn was a rare case where tactical genius trumped dogma. The First Order, maybe. Regardless, only officers aren't wearing helmets anyway.
Just shows you that they've been planning for cosmetic loot boxes all along.
Yeah like $10-15.
I buy most of my games physically. Because then I own a copy of the game. Digital I don't. I own the right to download it until such time that they want to take it away or not host it anymore.
All the comments I see about how RDR2 will suck now, did you even read the article?
@Many-hat5 And what you are proposing to do will only protect that "cartel". Getting rid of government intervention in the internet is what we need. Not more.
@DarXyde,
You rip on speculation and then your entire post is nothing but speculation.
I agree that I'm enjoying it, but Sony and Microsoft cannot have another long in the tooth generation like the last one. The 360 and PS3 were incredibly outdated when the PS4 and XB1 finally came out. At the very latest the PS5 and next Xbox should come out in 2020. That's still 7 years. 8 years is too long. Console cycles used to be more like 6 years. That's plenty.
