I for one loved XIII. While I like open world games, they sometimes can be hard to beat because you get distracted by 1000 other things in the world. Yes that's great for content and what not. I'm not knocking it. But I have no problem with a game that just focuses on the story and sends you down a linear or semi-linear path.
I beat The Order: 1886 recently in a weekend (as a married guy with young kids). Incredibly linear and lots of QTE. But still a great ga...
Perhaps for things like camshafts and what not. But changing stuff like downforce and camber was not. You had to know what you were doing.
So this is more of a "we're laying people off" announcement than it is a "we're changing the game and it'll take longer" announcement.
The space combat was great, ground combat felt clunky. I think the game needs a little bit of auto-aim. Doesn't have to be aggressive, just something to help get you that last 5-10% of the way to the target.
But the progression system is all kinds of messed up. It's entirely pay to win or grind for hundreds of hours and hope to get things unlocked. Being able to craft a single gun will take a bare minimum of 15 hours of gameplay. 600 materials to craft a gun / ...
It depends on the game. In Horizon Zero Dawn, there is a definite difference in noise between 1080p and supersampling from 4K. I still don't think my Pro is all that loud in either and I sit with it about 3-4 feet from my head.
Then don't be an early adopter. Likely it was too expensive before to have HDMI passthrough with HDR.
You know the risks with being an early adopter.
@Christopher - Uh no when it does affect him he will show his dissatisfaction by not buying it.
I'm betting the family would have gotten more if people didn't jump the gun and cry wolf over not understanding inter-state and international laws, and they'd left it a paid DLC. I'm glad the family will get something still but just goes to show that the gamer audience is largely spiteful and ignorant.
No they shouldn't.
A lack of a disc drive would ensure lack of adoption in countries where internet is not uncapped and/or slow.
@NewMonday, what smartphone version? There's FFXV: A New Empire, but that's just a base building game that's nothing but a pay to win cash grab.
Destiny 2 is quite fun. Yes you can rush through everything and be done in a few days. Same goes for tons of games that many think are good. But D2 has more to do than D1 and D1 was still fun to play regardless. And not all of us can play 12 hours a day. I haven't even done all the Strikes yet, haven't attempted the Nightfall, haven't done anywhere near all the Adventures and Lost Sectors, the other missions, etc. Still need to gear up too.
I have not gotten the update
Definitely a clear difference. That said, the Switch version does not look terrible. Impressive for mobile hardware.
So because a few people got butt hurt about something the vast majority of us have no clue about because groups that use it are a few hundred people at best, they're going to change the game? That's just stupid.
Ever think these guys created something off gaming "culture" and Bungie, being a gaming company, created something similar unintentionally?
Hoping this means the original will go on sale. I really want one of these.
Yeah it was some BS that they created a new product page when everyone had registered to be notified on the original page. Do it at a time where everyone has a fair chance of getting one.
It's still sitting on the shelf for me, unplayed. And unsure whether I want to.
