In my 3 hours last night, I barely came across others and when I did, none of them attacked me. The game is hardly rife with griefers. Sure things may change in the future. But so might the anti-griefing mechanism. They could add the ability to opt out of all PvP damage if the community call for it is strong enough. So far though I haven't even been attacked by another player. Even as a pot shot.
The butthurt is strong with this one.
Had a blast with the game last night and looking forward to more. Yes the game has bugs and performance issues at times. But it's still fun to play. Most of the reviews are people mad the game isn't what they wanted it to be. And probably who didn't even buy it.
I will always buy physical unless reasons, but that kind of sucks. At least it doesn't try to install the whole game first and then download.
It doesn't exactly bother me, but my question is, why make everyone have to redownload the whole game? Why not only include the assets needed in the patch?
I'll wait for the games to come out to decide instead of bitching on the internet about something I don't control. If it's a fun game that interests me, I'll play it.
I certainly hear the fan kick up on certain games, but even sitting less than 2 feet away, I can't really hear it when playing a game with my headset on.
I would hardly say it crashed. Took a dip? Yes. Crashed? No.
I definitely would like 60 fps @1080p, 30 fps @ 1080 with better effects/lighting/particles, and 30 fps @ 2K/4K(checkerboard is fine).

I know plenty of people that only buy digital music and movies. I don't, but that's because I like to have it when I buy something.
PC games have largely gone entirely digital.
Console have not and I don't want them to. And the issues with it as others have said is distribution. If console goes completely digital, then areas of the world with less than adequate internet access will be locked out of gaming. And that's bad for sales.

Yeah two of your "negative" stories are in no way negatives. They are "people were held accountable" stories.
The first one though is easily handled by talking to whoever you get your homeowners policy from and adding a rider in there to cover your collections or games. I did just that with my comic book "collection".
