Those markets aren't going to matter. There's a reason MS didn't launch in those territories and it's because they haven't been huge sellers there historically. If they were at all important, they would have made damn sure to have XB1's on store shelves. They launched in their strongest territories and they got outsold quite handily by Sony.
China is another matter, but Sony is also launching there.
XB1 sales aren't mediocre though. They're outpacing 360 sales after the same amount of time on the market. Their sales numbers do pale in comparison to Sony's PS4 however, but it's still a huge success.
If they had an exclusive MH game, it would fly off the shelves. They're not hating on the XB1 because they hate America. They love everything about american culture. Music, movies, clothes, food, entertainment, etc...
It doesn't make sense for MS at all. The first game didn't sell very well on 360 and the remastered sold ridiculously poorly on XB1. Especially in comparison to how it sold on Playstation platforms.
It wasn't a new IP and after all the great critical reviews and great user reviews, it's not a game that fell under the radar. It had an audience of 70 million on the 360 and it sold poorly.
MS would have been better served securing an Assassin...
It's all about how SE can make the most money and even though Tomb Raider 2013 sold approximately 800,000 more copies on PS3/PS4 than it did on 360/XB1, they received enough money from Microsoft to cover that loss and then some.
What's more unusual to me is that MS even bothered to open the bank for a game like Rise of the Tomb Raider. The first game only sold 1.7 million copies on the 360 when the console had an install base of over 80 million. It sold a paltry 170,0...
lol good luck with that.
How about you slow your roll son. This info was data mined from the beta. You couldn't actually play it in the beta but the data was there. And as this is info mined from BETA code, it's not representative of the final product. Bungie is setting this up to be MMORPG-like with tons of replay/end-game content. It's not going to have a paltry 22 missions. And they've said that every planet in our solar system will be represented. This info only shows earth, venus, mars, and mercu...
Inafune isn't the idiot. The people that keep giving him money are. I can't believe the game got funded in the first place. This isn't some kid coding games in his garage. This is Keiji Inafune. Do you honestly believe that he couldn't get investors? The only reason he went this route is so that he can take 100% of the profits with 0% risk.
If he got real investors, he'd have to share the profits with his backers, which he doesn't need to do with kick...
Great news because all 3 of their infamous games have been making a handful of boring missions for one district and then ctrl+c, ctrl+v, ctrl+v, ctrl+v, ctrl+v for every other district.
And I hope Sucker Punch abandons inFamous and moves onto a new IP.
Survival is incredibly addictive. Well worth the $5. I bought the season pass though because Housemarque is amazing.
Just stop. Ubisoft made a mistake, not by not including a female assassin but by being chickenshits and not telling the truth. All they had to do is say, "this is our game and we don't want female assassins in it. end of story." Instead they pussyfooted around by saying not enough resources to reskin a character model and animation set that's already there.
I guess you never played Peace Walker. And MGS has always been silly. That's the beauty of it. Deadly serious crossed with utter silliness.
I don't know why anyone would doubt Naughty Dog. But then again, people still call BS (wrongly) on every MGS trailer that KojiPro puts out and every Guerilla Games trailer they put out. Remember that trailer for Killzone 2 where the camera follows the path of the bullet? Everyone yelled "PRERENDERED!!!" Then they allowed you to download the thing and manipulate the camera any which way you wanted while it played.
Not every studio out there is an Ubisoft/EA/Activ...
I don't see how it was game heavy in favour of XB1. The majority of the titles were 3rd party multiplatform games. The rest was timed exclusive DLC and a handful of XB1 exclusives with CG TRAILERS.
Would ya'll be happy if Sony just threw up a bunch of game titles on screen accompanied by 1 or 2 minutes of CG footage with no release dates of any kind. Maybe it's cuz I've been gaming for 25 years but that kind of BS doesn't sell for me.
I d...
Yeah you keep bringing up that list of games but outside of sunset overdrive, you have no idea what the games even look like or play like.
10/10 conference filled with cg trailers and timed exclusive dlc. MS rocked it!
Your list consists of 5 Halo games, a CG trailer for Phantom Dust (which means you're hyping something you have no info on). A CG trailer for Scalebound (which means you're hyping something you have no info on), a piece of DLC, and a CG trailer for Crackdown (which means you're hyping something you have no info on).
Project Spark doesn't even register cuz it's a UGC "game."
They didn't show anything of substance in terms of ...
Stop drinking their kool-aid.
I know that every bit helps but a 10% boost as a result of removing Kinect isn't going to change things significantly.
Not knowing what the game is actually like, I'm going to jump to conclusions and say that ND should keep Uncharted light-hearted and do the dark/sombre thing with TLoU series.
The walking and combat animations are still janky. Looks so stilted, slow, and clumsy. Why is every movement so exaggerated? Not impressed with that aspect at all.
