Me too, having enemies pull out a new move set or pattern you haven't seen before is the best way to unbalance a player without it being boring or unfair

I think they tried that with Uncharted during development, people hated it, even when the tells were obvious (they had the enemies literally shout out what they were doing and they still blindsided players).

Doom Eternal was so tough, but it felt so amazing to finish that game, even when the enemy feels unfair and gang up/box up into a corner.

It's not the best look, but it's aesthetically pleasing enough.

@KwietStorm,
I personally dislike most open world games because of how bland and boring most tend to be, although I also like to have more direction and story than they normally provide. Being tossed into a sandbox and left to my own devices is not necessarily fun for me, unless it's Horizon Zero Dawn or Breath of the Wild.

These days, the worst thing you can be is a straight, white male, and it's so prevalent as well.

It's also ruining games and other media as well, and it's racism/discrimination, I think that matters a lot to individuals and society as a whole.

These kinds of people hire within their own circles, so she probably won't get fired, and you won't see her looking for work either because another company like SBI will take her in if worst came to worst.

Regardless of skin colour, or race, it's racist to say what she did, but this seems to be a common issue with the extreme left wing groups like SBI. So "tolerant" of other people and cultures that they become the very thing they supposedly fought against.

The media tends to go easier on woman, so the fallout may not be that bad, if it's a white man, they would lose their sh*t. You would have thought, with how progressive we had become as a society over the years, that there is no way we would regress like this.

829d ago 5 agree3 disagreeView comment

Yep, no matter how you frame it, it's racism, and now anyone she didn't hire who is white can sue her for work discrimination. I believe a lot of recruiters has some form of racism/sexism/ageism/etc... But they're generally smart enough not to say it, especially not out in public like this.

Funny, I was playing the Halo 2 campaign on hard last night, I forgot how hard that game was.

I'll try the demo, if it's good, I might get the game, I probably won't buy it right away though.

829d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Is there some legal reason why it's being pulled in Japan? Is this going to happen everywhere else? Maybe I should buy the game just in case, although, you usually get some warning before they pull a game from the Steam Store.

I honestly think day one releases would be the worst thing for Sony, and I say that as a PC player, it'll make the Playstation irrelevant, that was part of the problem for Xbox.

The PS4/Xone were outdated performance-wise for a long time, they were getting a bit long in the tooth before the PS5/Series X came out, although, even the PS5/Series X is outdated, and they're only halfway through their life span. Having said that, the PS4 and PS5 section are roughly the same size in most of the stores here (both Big W and EB is almost the same). As long as the game is good, I don't think people will care as much about graphics, the Switch isn't even as powerful ...

To be fair, back in 2012, phone technology was still progressing reasonably fast, so it was worth changing your phone more often.

I don't think Vanillaware has ever released a game on PC, there are some games there I would love to see there, but I'll just buy their games on Switch/PS4 instead.

It's almost impossible to run on the Steam Deck, apparently people can get it running, but it's difficult and there's major consequences. Having said that, I bought the PC version, so I'll just play it there.

Or PC, I had to buy a Switch to enjoy all it's exclusives, and they're high quality ones that I can't play anywhere else.
