It's because there's no post game is there? I considering if I ever should pick this up, guess I'll wait for a collection or something.
E3 is a former shell of itself.
I honestly struggle to keep up.
And that's why Andromeda was such a mess when it got released, glad I didn't purchase on release.
I like gameranx too, it really helps with my purchase choices.
This is my issue with reviews, sometimes games get reviewed just on brand name alone and not the actually content of the game. FFXV had alot of flaws but I never saw many reviews pointing out those flaws, just explaining why the game is so great. As for popular opinion on the internet, it was polarizing at best.
There are a few early access games I'm interested in, but I'm not plonking down my money until it's finished, hence I've never actually paid for an early access title. At this point, it sounds like PUBG will be one of the few games like that that will end up on the Playstation.
If it's one thing I dislike about Steam, it's sifting through all that garbage, I doubt Microsoft is really picking up alot of those "exclusive" titles and if they did, how may are excited to pay for it? Not everyone can be a PUBG, that was just an outlier in sea of half-assed or incomplete titles.
It's defiantly a contender, whether it beats the competition is another thing.
I just like the atmosphere or feel of Ayesha, it felt nice to play, I just wish the Dusk series had a more conclusive ending because Atelier Shallie never really resolved that world's issue or even explained why it went that way.
It looks like it has more of a Horizon Dawn feel to it but that's probably not right either.
Naughty Dog games have a distinct feel to them, you know 5 or 10 minutes after you start playing one of their games (the gunplay and exploration give it away for me, but they do do well on their stories).
Fair enough, your not exactly wrong.
nah, there're making a comeback this gen, open-world games is the in-thing now, even games that would benefit from not having it tend to have it thrown in now.
There's always budget titles, not every game has to be AAA or try to be AAA.
Lootboxes, omg, f**k the lootboxes (Star Wars Battlefront 2 is going to be a good example).
TBH, I would pass over a game if it was online only (I really miss couch co-op or split screen multi), I really value the story in most games I purchase and I don't always like waiting for matchups (some games take too long).
I agree Titanfall 2 was the better game, it's so hard to find a match on that game so I have to pretty much wait until the weekend play it alot. I hope this doesn't kill it's chances for a sequel.
It's probably because they can draw out the longevity of multi-player games and people tend to stick with it longer, games like Overwatch are a cash cow and I think everyone wants to emulate that model now when that game was one of few outliers.
Between the Pro and the XoneX, my money is on the Pro for several reasons, better games selection and better price/performance ratio, this gen and last gen showed those are key factors on determining success.
